I can only describe my stay here as perfect. I had an incredibly busy schedule, with 2 full-day activities booked in my 2-night stay, arriving after midnight on the first day. This timetable does not fit well with the reception times for check-in and check-out, but after communicating my situation to the staff they easily offered me options to make it work, even keeping my luggage after the check-out. Here, let me specifically cite the manager Shannon, whose attention I can only qualify as delightful. The rooms were large and comfortable offering all the expected amenities and prepared to keep you safe in such a tropical and wildlife-vibrant environment. Regarding the location, for me it is also perfect, right in the middle of Port Douglas, with many restaurants and grocery stores just some steps away, and the marina where you board the boats to explore the Great Barrier Reef is just 10-15 minutes by walking. Oh, and the 4-mile beach is also minutes away. So amazing! This property will be first on my list for my next stay at Port Douglas.

“Ideal location in heart of town”

We arrived late but communication was excellent to allow us to get the key to our room outside of reception hours. The room was clean, with sufficient toiletries and towels. We arrived late but communication was excellent to allow us to get the key to our room outside of reception hours. The room was clean, with sufficient toiletries and towels. Although on ground floor, it had a nice outside space. Probably would recommend upgrading to one bedroom with kitchen as there would be more space for two people but it was comfortable and very quiet. The location is perfect, in the middle of main street so ideal for walking spots and eateries. The staff are super helpful, allowing us a late check out and access to another room prior to leaving. That was so kind and thoughtful.

The Manager, Shannon, and her team, made this a great experience for us from the initial enquiry. They were prompt and accommodating. We arrived after hours and the instructions to get into our room and know where to park were easy to follow. The location is fantastic, walking distance to anywhere. Good space to live in for a week, and enough bits and bobs to cook if that's your vibe. Of particular note is the assistance and solution provided when the street had internet issues and one of us had to get some work done (Shannon even offered a car ride to co-working space she had organised for me at their sister hotel). We wouldn't hesitate to book here again if returning to Port Douglas.
