The Apartments were spacious, clean, modern.(2 bedroom) Everything you needed was located in the cupboards. I was very impressed. Four showers and toilets, with an ensuite in each room. “Excellent with lots of room”

Great apartments overlooking the lake. Very convenient location. Living and main bedroom upstairs with beautiful views. Two bedrooms downstairs. Lots of room and would be excellent for a family or group of friends. Only downside- no internet. Otherwise great value. You won’t be disappointed

“Huge and well kept apartment - # 5”

The Abel Tasman Suite is separate from the other Ultimate Holiday Apartments. It is HUGE and has a full kitchen and washer/dryer. We were extremely comfortable and it was very quiet and clean. This time, we booked direct with Ultimate and were able to rent an apartment as 2BR which made it cheaper. We'd expected the 3rd bedroom to be locked but it wasn't. Apartment 7 is further back from the Esplanade and, therefore, has less traffic noise. We both slept exceptionally well. Pretty much everything is walking distance. The footbridge and weekend market are across the road, Sea Shanty (a great little restaurant), a pharmacy and a small supermarket are around the corner and our other favourite Lakes restaurant (Sodafish) is about a 15-minute walk along the lake. There are 2 good surf shops (Surf Shack and Ozmosis) on the way back as well as Big Bear Donuts (yum). A Woolworths is a couple of minutes drive along Church St. Other reviewers have already covered the apartment facilities but it's worth noting that there's no pool. However, there's a lovely little beach on the lake across the footbridge. We'll stay at Ultimate again next time we're at Lakes Entrance. On to Tathra from here.
