Close to where we needed to be and Tram stops right out front. Walking distance along the riverwalk, to loads of restaurants and shops. Atmosphere was upscale in the lobby area but very comfortable. The rooms were exactly as advertised, clean and comfortable. The balcony was nice but a little cool to spend much time out there. We booked a flash sale and it was a very good value. We got the room for 2 nights (wished we could have stayed longer) hot buffet breakfast for 2 - 2 mornings and covered parking for less than 200 a night. Our room was very clean and I am picky. Very quiet. We didn't need much service and because we were in and out we chose not to have the room serviced. The amenities were as expected. Towels were a little on the small size, but I like big towels. The staff were great all were friendly and smiling. We enjoyed just being there. When I booked I thought I had made a mistake because of the excellent price, Scel was a great help when I called. She assured me we could access the car park in and out whenever we wanted, but there was a tram stop right out front and many things are within walking distance. Because of fuel costs all of April and May, so far, all public transport is free in Victoria. Thanks again Scel for telling me that. We never moved the car until we left. The only weird things were the fee for credit card that we didn't know about, it was only about 7.50 but it would have been nice to know in advance. And in the parking garage it's a tight area and we have a large vehicle. Height wasn't a problem 2 mtrs but manoeuvring was a little difficult because they stored the trolleys with dirty laundry in an area that prevent you from turning around without going to the lower level and it was weird because in the corner, three or 4 parking places were full of 30-40 motorcycles in different levels of disrepair. It definitely didn't affect our stay nor will it prevent us from recommending this great place, but it's just a heads up.

“Splendid Hideaway on the fringe of Melbourne CBD”

We had a great stay at Amora Riverside. The room was modern, spacious, and very comfortable, with a luxurious feel. The bed was on the firmer side, but perfectly suited us and provided a great night’s sleep. Our room faced the street, so there was some noise from traffic and trams, but it wasn’t enough to disturb us. The location was perfect—far enough out of the busy city centre, bordered by the Yarra and gardens, yet very convenient with a tram stop right at the door. The 30-minute trip into the city was easy and pleasant. The price was exceptional for the level of comfort and amenities. There’s also a restaurant and bar onsite with a great atmosphere, and we enjoyed the live music on the night we stayed. Secure parking is available for a fee, and there’s also plenty of street parking nearby later in the day.

“Location great -”

Location is very good. Tram to city right outside. Food in restaurant is good. Ask for a room in the new wing- very modern. Plenty of places to walk and explore and so many local cafes around to try.

“Overnight Stay”

Have stayed a number of times and always had a good experience. Unfortunately this time, our Shower was in need of a good clean. Grout between tiles had turned black. On a positive point, staff are very friendly and helpful.
