My wife and I have just spent another night on Monday at the Parkroyal Tullamarine before heading overseas early following morning. We arrived at around 1100 am and were warmly welcomed by Volcom. He took the time to have a chat with us, recognised my status with the group and offered to try and provide us with an early checkin, which was extremely welcomed by us both. After a coffee, we were in our room, gear dropped and off into the city. This hotel is just so convenient for quick stays in Melbourne and the airport to city bus makes it so easy to transfer in and out for shopping or meals. Our room as always was great and I once again enjoyed sitting in the room watching the planes come and go across the road. The bed is so comfortable and the room is huge. My rate included breakfast but because of the early start, we unfortunately missed what is one of the best breaky buffets around. See you again on the 29th May on our return from overseas team.

“Great option if you have an early international flight”

Have stayed here before and this time was just as good. Advantages if you are a member of the GHA program with earning and burning of reward dollars. Have stayed here before and this time was just as good. Advantages if you are a member of the GHA program with earning and burning of reward dollars. Excellent sleep quality, clean and well appointed room, good bar lounge for drinks and snacks and very good staff who do their best to look after you. You feel like your vacation is starting right then. And the best thing in the morning is that you just use the express checkout and walk across to departures

“Overnight stay”

Stayed at the Parkroyal, as we had a very early morning flight the next day. The hotel, room and staff exceeded our expectations. Surprisingly quiet as you’re so close to the airport. Stayed at the Parkroyal, as we had a very early morning flight the next day. The hotel, room and staff exceeded our expectations. Surprisingly quiet as you’re so close to the airport. We will definitely stay again if we have a an early morning flight. We would just like to say thank you to the duty manager as a bottle of sparkling wine and strawberries was sent to our room as we were celebrating our 35th anniversary. Very much appreciated. Thanks once again.

“Excellent location with quiet rooms.”

After a flight was cancelled I was put up here. Arriving at 11pm check in was warm, friendly and professional. The room on the 8th floor was large and quiet, even with terminal construction outside. The bathroom was great and included a bath (with bath salts) and a shower. The included toiletries were nice too. The mini bar had a good selection of beer, wines and spirits whilst the box of Dilmah teas had 4 varieties. The bed was great. King sized, 2 pillows and comfy. The bedside clock was appreciated. The only issue I have is with the breakfast. The full buffet is $50. Now that’s very expensive but the problem is I don’t consider it to be valued at $50. There are cooked- to- order options around $25 so you can save funds if needed. On the hot side there were hash brown’s, mushrooms, tomatoes, eye bacon and scrambled eggs. The eggs may have been from a packet as they were not what I recall scrambled eggs to be. And not nice. The bacon and hash browns were both good. 4 juices were on offer but no glasses for the hour I was there. Bread selection was good with whole sourdough loaves, regular bread and bagels. Sweets included muffins and pastries but not a big selection. In the cold fridge was fruit, yoghurt, cheese and meats. The coffee was not very nice. The breakfast area to me just didn’t work; spoons for the hot stuff were sat well below the height of the dishes, most food is kept in heavy cast iron pots, with nowhere really obvious to put the heavy cast iron lid. Overall this is a very convenient place to stay between flights and my fussiness over breakfast should not put you off from considering it.
