From the moment we booked our stay at Hotel Schloss Seefels, the experience was exceptional. Well before our trip, I had been emailing back and forth with the staff to arrange golf tee times and spa appointments. Every single interaction was warm, professional, and unbelievably responsive — many times they replied within just a few hours despite the major time difference between the US and Austria. They even helped us make a last-minute adjustment to one of our golf reservations at a nearby course. The day before arrival, I let them know we would likely arrive early in the morning just to drop off our luggage. We arrived around 11am and were immediately blown away by how beautiful and immaculately maintained the property was. As soon as we pulled up, someone came to assist my wife with the luggage while I parked the car. By the time I returned, she already had a welcome drink in hand and was receiving what genuinely felt like a VIP experience. They welcomed me with a glass of champagne, reviewed all of the benefits that came with our booking, and then surprised us by letting us know our room was not only ready early, but had also been upgraded. The staff personally escorted us to the room, where they had prepared treats for us, and carefully walked us through all of the room amenities to ensure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed. It was such a thoughtful touch. And then there was the room itself — absolutely stunning. We had a double balcony overlooking the lake, and honestly, my wife and I were speechless. The golf courses they recommended were excellent. My wife also enjoyed the spa very much —while she said the massage was okay, the facial she had was phenomenal. Regardless, the spa facilities themselves are incredible. Multiple saunas, steam rooms, pools, lake access… truly everything you could want for a relaxing wellness experience. The hotel also helped arrange dinner reservations for us throughout our stay, and every recommendation was spot on. One evening we dined at the hotel restaurant overlooking the lake and had the tasting menu. At first there was a slight language barrier, which is completely understandable since we do not speak German, but the staff could not have been kinder or more accommodating. We really appreciated the effort everyone made to communicate with us in English. A special mention also goes to the sommelier, who embraced the challenge of creating his own wine pairing for the tasting menu since there was not an official pairing offered. He absolutely nailed it and made the entire dinner experience so much fun. The bartender afterward was fantastic as well. During the quieter parts of our trip, we spent our days relaxing by the pools or down by the lake. The property is peaceful, luxurious, and incredibly well cared for. Housekeeping was excellent throughout the stay — the room was spotless, turndown service was a wonderful touch, and anytime we placed the cleaning tag outside the room, it was serviced before we returned. Overall, this was one of the most memorable hotel stays we have ever had. Beautiful property, exceptional service, thoughtful staff, and an experience that felt genuinely special from beginning to end. We would absolutely love to return someday.

This is the most exquisite property on a lake in Austria. I have traveled here five times and I live in the United States. From the moment you drive up to the beautiful door you are transported into a world of magnificent original art work, a warm and friendly reception who are so kind and happy. I love the Lake View Suite and they always go out of their way to accommodate the guest because you become a part of their family. The traditions run deep, The landscaping is something out of Architectural Digest, the extraordinary bar is simply divine as are the bartenders. You never want for anything. They provide white glove service with an incredible chef and staff. It is quiet, with a sensational spa. I adore each and everyone who works there. They are engaged with you and they want to pamper you unlike any other hotel I have enjoyed in the world. I look forward to joining them again and again. It is a very high end concept and they deliver every moment of every day.

We have been regular guests here about 10 years ago, and now fist time after new owner. This 5 star hotel get new shine, become more sophisticated and even more elegant. like: - rich Christmas and New Year's decorations - inside and outside of the hotel - very good organization od New year Eve. We get top table near windows, view to lake - kitchen there ( Chef!) is on very high level - variety of flavors, ingredients, also long wine list - restaurant Maitre D, nice Italian, run his team very professionally - when you enter the hotel, Front Office / Reception - you get right informations from staff with smile - rooms and wellnes area completely renovated, nice art dislike: - just general info about sauna rooms, when you enter concrete sauna you dont know about temperature and humidity there - no info near doors
