B&B Hotel up to the usual standard and had no complaints or issues with this property. Located about 10-15 minutes walk from Villach Hbf station and equivalent distance from the town centre. Therefore this might not be ideal for those arriving by public transport. This hotel does have car parking. As I had an early start in the morning, I did not have breakfast.

“Excellent value and comfortable room”

This is easily the one of the most comfortable rooms I’ve ever stayed in. I wasn’t sure about the location as it isn’t the prettiest but I was so comfortable it didn’t matter. This is easily the one of the most comfortable rooms I’ve ever stayed in. I wasn’t sure about the location as it isn’t the prettiest but I was so comfortable it didn’t matter. It was a 15 min walk (with luggage) to the train station and about the same into the centre. The person at reception was lovely. There was a train strike and I asked if we could stay another day and she was very helpful with that. The rooms were really clean and the bed comfortable. The shower worked well and had hot water and good water pressure. There was space to hang coats and things. I found the room temperature great and when the cloud was gone, we had lovely mountain views. It was so quiet. Really enjoyed this hotel and would recommend. There are also two supermarkets nearby. Great value!

We stayed one night in this hotel and found it just ok, but nothing to write home about. First of all, we often have the impression that this chain (by coincidence we stayed in 2 other B&B hotels this holiday) is often located in somewhat unattractive locations that are mainly convenient for people with cars. We arrived by train and found the walking route from the station to the hotel not ideal. Although the hotel looks quite modern, we found the carpet to be somewhat unsavory (and it also smelled dusty). The beds and the shower were ok. The view was not fantastic: a busy parking lot at a supermarket. The service was friendly and check-in went smoothly. The breakfast room was very small and the breakfast buffet itself was very basic and simple: certainly not bad, but very ordinary. The total price including breakfast was over € 150 for one night, too expensive for what was offered. (In all honesty, we must note that during our stay in the next B&B hotel, we got our breakfast for free though).
