“As good as country-side hotels get”
Roomy rooms, very good internet and parking, excellent breakfast with espresso, fresh orange juice machine (self-service, yes!). Owners very friendly. Just outside Melk, which in itself is highly recommended. I will do separate review of the restaurant, which is fabulous.

“Nice Facility, Great Food, Pricey, Removed from Historic area”
This is a wonderful hotel with everything you need for a restful stay. Our room was spacious and well-appointed. “You just need cool weather and a car”
Hotel Wachau is well located if you have a car. Otherwise it’s a mile uphill from the centre. The food was delicious. The bedroom was large but much too hot to sleep well as there is no air conditioning and not even a fan to cool the air down a little.
