“Nice family stay”

My family (husband, myself and two sons) stayed here for two nights. It was a nice family hotel. When we arrived we were able to have lunch straight away. We had booked all inclusive. Lunch there wasn’t a selection it was one type of meat and potatoes. Drinks weren’t included in the all inclusive and were priced quite high (a beer and cola were almost €12). Our room was lovely. We had an adjoining room with a bathroom in the centre. A cot and bed barrier for my toddler was provided. Dinner was nice. Buffet for the starters and you could pick from 3 types of main courses. For the kids it was great there were 4 or 5 play rooms and my toddler loved it! He could have played in there for hours!! In all it was a lovely stay!

As a family with 2 children we had a wonderful experience. The facilities for children are amazing. They had 4 children’s playrooms next to the restaurant so you could eat your diner peacefully while your impatient ones were playing untill they dropped. Almost every day there was something special for them. The wellness facilities are also wonderful. From the indoor swimming pool, the bubble bath, the salt pool to the sauna’s: everything’s well organised. All wellness arrangements (including massages) were also available for children. This family hotel brings you straight to the Christmas living room you saw on tv in the 80’s. The place is packed with hundreds of Teddy bears, family pictures and kitsch figurines. The lobby and the rooms make you become a part of the charming, quaint Traditional family. I would ‘t let them decorate my house though. :) Food was decent. I had no complaints. My children (who are horrible eaters) got to eat every day. Menu’s are also pretty oldschool... but that made it nostalgic I guess. If they would read this: I would recommend to add the evening salad bar to the lunch buffet too. 2 hot meals in one day can get a bit too much. :) But if there’s anything I would recommend this hotel for it’s the wonderful staff. The people at Hinteregger do make you feel welcome. From the receptionists to the ever helpful bar guy and the wonderful people in the restaurant: they were wonderful!!

“Excellent kids club but a mixed bag of a hotel”

We stayed here for a week in september with an awesome deal from Neckermann (turns out we paid only a third of our neighbours). The hotel amenities are great and the location especially is fantastic with direct access to slopes lifts etc. The children’s club was the reason we chose this hotel and we were not disappointed; the ladies taking care of the kids are great, take initiative and are throughout extremely professional. This however we cannot say of the bar man who kicked us out of the bar and closed at 21:30 on a Friday night - and wasn’t overly polite about it either. Surely the parents are allowed a bit of downtime on a “children” holiday! Food wise, we took the all inclusive package (but still paid for beer and wine). The choice was fine, but we felt that the evening buffet (starters and soup are on buffet whilst main course is served at the table) was a letdown given that also breakfast and lunch are buffets. We would have appreciated a full sit down dinner every day. The main course however was fantastic most nights and somehow over the general level of the hotel. For us with the kids this was a great stay, but we shan’t return with our group of friends and kids, as we want to be able stay in the restaurant or bar as long as we want in the evening; and the “being asked to leave the bar” episode was not nice and definitely not hospitable.

Good average hotel for families with children. Stayed there for a week with our entire family. Rooms were nice but those facing the street must accept some traffic noise. Rooms facing the back part of the hotel are quiet. When booking we asked for at room with a balcony and was charged extra for that - however all rooms have a balcony. Food is okay but do not expect a gourmet experience - average but with good variations during a week. Kids enjoyed the children’s area with a freindly hostess. The pool area is ok - but the main pool is poorly lit and during our stay there was some technical issues with the smaller and warmer pool. Therefore it was not possible to use it during three days. In the adult area there are two saunas and one steam bath and relaxation area. Quite nice but one of the saunas was out of order in two days. One of the reasons for choosing this hotel, was the proximity to the cable car station next to the hotel. However the cable line was under planned modernisation and was not available. It could be nice that the hotel had informed about this at their website instead of promoting the cable line ! Parking is free and located next to the hotel.
