Have stayed in Pension Seighof for the first time and would really recommend it. free shuttle to the slopes, very nice food rich buffet, large and comfortable rooms. The staff is very friendly and always smiling and ready to assist you. but the thing that moved me the most is the atmosphere and decoration in the pension. despite being fully equipped with the most modern facilities, it is a museum of old tools, equipment and furniture used in the alps in the past. the environment is so cozy, everything is wooden.Have been visiting Austria for many years and in my opinion it was the best 3-star pension.

My husband and I have been staying at the exceptional Pension Seighof now for 20 years, and our favourite hideaway in the mountains continues to evolve and improve - so high time I wrote a review. If you are looking for a unique and special authentically Austrian experience - with humour, style, comfort, convenience, and excellent service, look no further than Pension Seighof. Your host Hannes, his wife Claudia and daughter Miriam will take care of everything you need - whether it's a ride to the lifts, recommendations on restaurants, advice on the best ski shops, selling you ski passes or whatever - always with a smile, efficiently. The rooms and apartments are super comfortable and well laid out with high attention to detail. Plenty of outlets, where you need them, and hooks to hang all your gear; very comfy beds and pillows; well appointed kitchens (in the apartments), hairdryers, etc. And lets talk about the spa! Yes, you have to get naked - this is Austria - but get over it; it's well worth it! Hannes has recently revamped it with a new sauna, steamroom, and 'hammock-bed thing' that you can relax in or meditate. Finally, there is a beautiful new museum / honour-system bard filled with authentic Austrian artefacts and QR codes so you can learn more about them, and a whole tree that comes up through the floor. It has to be seen to be believe (I'll add pictures). There is also a cool chill out zone up the ladder with beds and pillows. So go there - you won't be sorry, and I guarantee you will keep coming back.

Great family run Pension in between Saalbach and Hinterglemn. The rooms were spacious and clean with a daily maid service. There is a free shuttle to the slopes and you can ski back to the hotel if snow conditions permit. We were half board, the breakfast service is a buffet with plenty to chose from. The evening meal was a choice of two dishes, all of which were excellent and to high standard. This is a family run business that has been passed down from the generations before and is in very good hands.
