Slight delay on fir this review. We went as a group of 13 in early February 2025. We all thought someone else in the group had posted a review! We went on a ski holiday - 13 of us including a teenager. We were the only English group in the hotel. We were made to feel very welcome by all the team and fellow guests. Christine and the team were fantastic when our flight was delayed on the first evening. Extremely tasty meals were provided for the awkward group - one veggie, 2 x shellfish allergies, one intolerance to bell peppers and another one with special requirements! Mike in the bar, Nick during evening service and Vivi at lunch time were really stood out. However, everyone went out of their way to help us, explain menus and help with getting about - especiallythe women at dinner, i think they found us both amusing and strange at times! The food was fantastic and plentiful, the bar was reasonably priced and our rooms were large, well equipped and spacious. I'm the vegetarian and i habe to say the veggie options for me were great. I had many really interesting and flavoursome meals. Although the hotel was just outside the village the ski bus ran frequently and I walked back to the hotel on a few occasions via the trails. It was only 1.5 miles. The ski areas were in great condition with really decent lifts. We would return - thank you Team Hotel Ronach! Plus the hotel dog was gorgeous!

We've stayed at MC Ronach for one week at the end of January 2019. The rooms were great and looked rather new. They offered a wide range of options for breakfast. During breakfast you need to order your main dish for dinner that day. The three options are meat, fish, and vegetarian. Delicious meals and the dishes looked great with a lot of creativity. Also, the starter buffet had a wide variety of options and the deserts were also fantastic. The hotel is very well organized and also organizes fun activities each evening. The sleigh riding behind the hotel was awesome. They also have a small apres ski bar in front of the hotel. Note, when using the ski bus carefully check the time table beforehand as the buses don't go that often. Conveniently, it stops right in front of the hotel. Two tips. For us it was way too warm in the restaurant, that could've been a bit less. Also the table in our room was a bit too much, the room was too full. We put the table on the hallway. Perfect hotel for those looking for convenience and delicious food.

+ service and hospitality is amazing! Friendly staff + foodquality is great, main course a bit small on portion size. + room is clean, bed is nice. Daily cleaning service. - shared balcony - drinks are a bit expensive

Having spent a nice week in Koenigsleiten (Hotel Alpenrose) in 2013 I chose the hotel Ronach Mountain Club for this year's ski trip with my 15 year old daughter. Unfortunately it was nothing like last year's trip: during meals children seemingly uncontrolled: yelling, screaming, climbing tables and chairs with no one, including hotel staff taking any measures to allow other guests a decent meal time. I have children myself and know they need to play and have fun. But what we experiences here was more like the lunch room in an elementary school where the teachers have left the room. Aside from breakfast meals where of basic quality with bland taste and few vegetable sides. Heavy on meat (cooked dry) and carbs. There was a decent appetizer buffet, but with few changes in the daily choices. The hotel has a nice spa area with sauna, steam bath and a small pool. Unfortunately the area was practically unusable due to children playing hike and seek and being extremely loud. Bottom line, be aware that this hotel is a place great for unlimited fun for children but not suitable if you seek a decent, somewhat quiet and relaxing place with good Austrian cuisine.
