Amenities: I stayed in Apartment room 107 on 1st floor. It was spacious. Bathroom is a walk -in next to bed area containing large sink, heated towel rack, loads of towels, fluffy robes, bin and very powerful and super hot shower with its half glass fixed door and big fixed rain shower head and adjustable removable shower head so i could sit on the fantastic disabled shower stool which they provided for me and easily shower and you can see the tv through the shower door if you so wish. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Best sleep in ages. Excellent lighting controls for whole room from the bedside apart from lamp controls. i think a central light could brighten it up a bit more and pull put magnifying mirror was a little low but those are minor things, also no sink in separate toilet. The room was very white with cheerful bright splashes of colour and unique wall art. Plenty of kitchen amenities, utensils, pots, dishes , small microwave grill, large fridge which they can empty the minibar contents of for you,and I asked for tea towels. Kettle was large and seemed like new, pristine inside, I didnt notice the kitchenette light until 2nd day on the wall. Large flat screen tv mainly international news channels and local language entertainment so I just watched CNN and BBC world occasionally. Service: incredible warm hospitality ! I felt like I was staying with a family. Agnes, the front office manager, went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. I have never felt so "unalone" while alone on holiday. Also Julia, Veronika, Birgit and two others whose names I forget but not their faces were wonderful hosts. I spent ages chatting all week having tourism tips. I was so welcomed and hugged on my arrival. It was so lovely. I had an issue with the tourist office and the hotel spoke to them. Next thing I knew the tourist director brought over a bouquet of flowers. My stay in Graz was enhanced entirely thanks to the hotel team. They all went to such huge effort including attempting to sort out an OBB train problem and made my bed extra comfortable for me with extra pillows for my back. This felt like a personal family I stayed with. I had a great holiday. Julia helped me look for a missing hairbrush just before I left and she found it for me. It was where it should be in my suitcase but upside down so I didn't see it. More hugs! I hope i get to return in future. I had difficulty operating the microwave/grill so Julia brought me the operating instructions. Agnes kindly met me at the tram stop on arrival to help me with my bags so i wasnt walking in unfamiliar place alone in the dark to hotel which was very appreciated and she went to great effort for my return home also. Everyone was REALLY special. Only 3 to 4 minute walk from Tram 4 into city centre, main square Hauptplatz which takes 10 mins, and costs 3,20 eur and thr same train takes you to main train station a further 10 minutes away. Hotel is also fes miniues walk to two major supermarkets around the corner.
