We came only for 2 night, and find…a fabulous hotel!!! Very nice atmosphere, wonderful view from the room 204 on Dachstein, super food, very rich breakfast with every day surprise:) The personal of hotel was very kind, professional and helpful! Definitely will come back again!

“fine hotel with an excellent restaurant!”

Arx hotel is a nice small boutique hotel located in the famoous Schladming ski area owned by Anna Veith, a former olympic medaillist. Arx hotel is a nice small boutique hotel located in the famoous Schladming ski area owned by Anna Veith, a former olympic medaillist. The hotel consists of comfortable beautifully designed rooms but the real beauty of the hotel lays in its restaurant. Arx is latin for summit. In the Arx restaurant you will reach the summit of your senses! Everiyevening we were served a four-course menu and every evening we were flabbergasted! If a good holiday means good food for you, this is defenitely a place you should consider.

“Comfy ski visit”

My wife (58) and I (64) just spent four nights here as the base for our ski trip. Rohemoos is one of four mountains linked by ski runs and buses and the hotel gives easy access to the pistes. My wife (58) and I (64) just spent four nights here as the base for our ski trip. Rohemoos is one of four mountains linked by ski runs and buses and the hotel gives easy access to the pistes. Externally, the hotel has a modern design, and on entry the greeting was warm and helpful. Room key cards are handed over inside a credit-card-size envelope bearing the room number and WiFi password and containing also a booklet of information so the in-room directory was slim. Our room was modern, warm and comfortable. The hotel proclaims its Tempur foam beds, though they won’t be to everyone’s liking. The shower room had a hair dryer, and extending magnifying shaving mirror and a shower with a head that stayed where you set it and didn’t boil/freeze you when you adjusted the valve slightly. Dinner menu choices had to be selected at breakfast and the food was delicate, mostly tasty and beautifully presented, by polite, English-speaking waitresses. The wine list looked short but good, but I only tried the wine once. The staff were content to serve free tap water. The only criticism of the restaurant was that the atmosphere was conducive to whispering - so the room lacked “buzz”. Also, on the one we went for afternoon post-ski snack, it comprised only another slice of the morning’s cake - and our coffees were charged for.
