We stayed at DMG for 3 nights & seriously had the most incredible time! We stayed on the funky 1st floor & it met all our expectations! The place just screams fun! So beautiful to see Fulpmes in the summer months - hiking mountains/swimming in the glacier lake & cruising down the mountains in the summer coasters. We had a ball! Then after the day’s activities to come back and chill in DMG was just heavenly. Doug, Steve and all staff involved the place is a credit to you. We are coming back again with a gang in February 2024 & have rented the entire chalet! WE CAN NOT WAIT to return!!! Don’t change a thing about the place lads it’s simply deadly 💕. “Best hostel experience yet”

I stayed here a while back during an 8-month solo adventure. To this day, this hostel remains the fondest stay in my memory. Not only is the town amazing, but this environment really tops off your stay

One of the best hostels I've been in. Hosts were really friendly and the hostel itself was really nice and cosy. Theres a ton of activities in Fulpmes. I'll definately come back if I'll be near Innsbruck again.

Stayed here for 8 weeks. With 10 other people, there was a lot of room and space for everyone to chill out. Big enough bedrooms, in general nice furniture. A funky and modern atmosphere. Two living rooms with big beamer screens that played anything (netflix, youtube, amazon prime, etc.). A fireplace that came in nicely with the cold weather arriving. Big enough storage space for ski's etc. In general the house is warm with floor heating on the first floor. Sauna and hot-tub to our disposal. Nice area and close to the supermarket MPreis, petrol station, bus stations etc. Several things could be worked on: - The chalet was not actually complete when we arrived, not a functioning or furnitured second floor (apart from simple bedrooms). The bathrooms weren't working properly yet. And for the entire 8 weeks that we lived here, we had builders across the floors and in our private rooms at all times of the day. They didn't ever ask if it was okay for them to enter our private rooms. They just barged in with muddy feet. - One of the bedrooms has the fusebox for the entire house in it, as there was a lot of building going on, this bedroom was often needed to be accessed. Which was unpleasant for the person sleeping in that bedroom. - The second floor still has in the welcoming hallway/sitting area. The floorboards were put in some time during our first weeks of arriving, however never really fit. - Regular cleaning of the hot-tub by the host. We asked several times whether it would be possible to clean and refill the water in the hot tub, but our requests were denied. - There is a climbing wall in the basement, however the basement was so full of other 'stuff' that the climbing wall was inaccessible for us. (even though we asked the host whether he could clear out the 'stuff' to make the climbing wall accessible to us). - The upstairs kitchen does not fully function, the oven hardly works and the stovetop does a bad job at cooking/heating food. - There is a lot of 'stuff' everywhere (on the walls, shelves, bookcases, etc.) that make the house a bit messy at times. Also, shelves and cupboards in the bedrooms are full of 'stuff' (like books, statues, etc.) so that there isn't any room to but personal belongings and clothes in those spaces. - Although it is cool that there is multicoloured lighting in the kitchen area and the living room area, the light switches in general are very difficult to work. If you just want the light to go on normally (or turn off normally) it becomes a struggle. - In my opinion the tv areas both have too many remotes etc. to handle the electronics. There are just too many complex electronic stuff going on. - There could be more bathrooms on the second floor (sharing two bathrooms between 6 people). - Would be nice to be able to lock the front doors. Only during the last week did we get a handle for the back door (and during the 7th week we had a 'break-in' because we weren't able to close or lock the back entrance door. Luckily nothing was taken. But basically at all times anyone could walk into the chalet.
