A lovely well-run family hotel, on the outskirts of Seefeld. I have visited Austria on numerous occasions and it is great to be surrounded by beauty and stay in such a hotel, with its great food, super spa facilities and attention to detail. Special praise for the dining room staff, particularly the 2 older gentlemen, who were extremely attentive. It was greatly appreciated.

“Great winter walking base”

Very helpful and friendly reception. Food was very good and we particularly enjoyed the gala dinner. Gunther looked after us extremely well. A very good wine list to complement the food. Very helpful and friendly reception. Food was very good and we particularly enjoyed the gala dinner. Gunther looked after us extremely well. A very good wine list to complement the food. Exceptional buffet breakfast with eggs to order to your taste. Comfortable room and spacious lounge / bar. Great base for winter hiking. You can start some from Seefeld town centre and, for others, you need to take a bus or train. It all works really well, the tourist information provides excellent free walking maps and the trails are well-marked.

My wife and I are spending a week at the Bergresort once again and we are having a even better time than ever! We have been regular guests here in the last 33 years, summer and winter. When we discovered this lovely alpine resort it was called Tuemmlerhof. During the years the hotel maintained its unique feel and managed to bring new things. This year the new lounge surprised us such a cosy environment to socialise, listen to music, chat with friends and dance. We came here as a couple, with small and not anymore small children, with our dog. The Bergresort had something for everyone. This time we enjoyed our couple time with body massages, wine tasting and outdoor and indoor swimming pool relaxing We are so thrilled we have already booked for 12 nights this summer! Staff are attentive and caring, they make you feel at home especially Gabi and Noemi at the restaurant and Jean the sommelier at the bar. Musicians are great, Bandi is our favourite. What else to say: it’s our kind of Heaven in earth!

Just returned from a skiing trip to Seefeld. 6 friends from the UK, staying in the Bergresort. Bergresort Seefeld is set amongst the beautiful Tirolan Alps and is an easy and short transfer to both the Rosshutte and Gschwandtkopf skiing areas with the ski shuttle stopping right outside. The rooms are big, super clean and incredibly comfortable with stunning views from the balconies. The spa, in particular the outdoor steam pool is amazing after a day on the slopes. We stayed on a half board basis...Breakfast is fabulous, but for me personally, dinner wasn't quite up to the standard I was expecting. We have done half board in Austria before where the food was out of this world, this sadly wasn't quite hitting the mark. We also had a rather odd "run in" with one of the members of staff on the first night, a lady who seemed to be in charge of the restaurant. We had been seated by her very lovely colleague (Gunther I believe, who is extremely lovely), she came over and in a raised voice, started ranting at us in German before switching to English and wanted to know if we had booked for the evening. Tried to explain we were on half board, and it being our first evening and did she want us to book our table going forward...? She eventually calmed down and walked away, after having a go due to us booking through a "tour company" (Expedia). It was all very strange and Gunther seemed visibly embarrassed and apologised. The service throughout was a little odd ( with the exceptionof Gunther who is a gem)...We couldn't make out wether it was due to us being from the UK, or the fact we were a lot younger than most of the other guests...(we're in our late 30s to late 40s so hardly youths...). It's very much a hotel for pensioners and dog owners and perhaps a little more research on clientele is needed next time we book a hotel. It's about 20 minutes to walk into the centre of Seefeld which meant after dinner, we stayed in the hotel bar as too late to go into town (and we were knackered from skiing and couldn't be bothered with the walk there and back...) The bar service was ok, a little moody at times, but efficient and quick. Cocktails delicious 😋 Entertainment definitely for the older Austrian crowd....We'd come to Seefeld again as great for our beginner friends, but would choose a hotel closer to village centre with a bit of a younger vibe. Half board is handy when skiing so would give that another chance.
