This is a wonderful hotel which is why we have stayed here many times. We've just spent Christmas week here together with family - a party of 14. Never known a week to fly by so quickly, everything perfect, snow, sunshine but above all this delight of a hotel. Martin, Astrid, their daughter Annalena and all their wonderful staff are so welcoming, friendly and efficient - absolutely nothing is too much trouble for them. As a party of 14 no doubt we made quite a lot of noise (8 month old granddaughter could probably win gold for Britain in the crying stakes!), but our lovely hosts just told us we 'brought life to the hotel' though in our opinion it is full of that already. Rooms are spotless and efficiently cleaned whilst breakfast is served, evening meals are plentiful and delicious. Hotel is very conveniently situated near train and bus stations, and close to beginner's ski slope and ski hire shop. Can't wait to return to this absolute gem of a hotel in beautiful Seefeld!

Now the third time that we have stayed over the Christmas period and that in itself speaks volumes about the welcome that is provided by this family run hotel. Nothing is too much and there is a calmness and friendliness that extends throughout all the staff. Without doubt you feel that people do care and at this time of the year, you are part of their family and I imagine at all times of the year. their welcome is very genuine. The range and quality of food is excellent, always served with a smile and great humour. The rooms are super comfortable, bathrooms and shower excellent and well maintained. Our only regret, as ever is leaving- counting the days until we return.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and every small detail has it's place. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed Martin's jokes a lot. The restaurant is first-class. The food is versatile and always tasty. In the week we stayed, we tried traditional tyrolean food, had cheese platters, fish, meet, vegetarian and children's dishes. The sauna area is relaxing and beautifully decorated. There is also free storage of skis in the basement available. Moreover, there is a kids play corner with amazing toys, which my son greately enjoyed amd we appreciated. The ski fields are only a few minutes away by foot. We will recommend the Schönegg hotel to friend and family and will anticipate to come back.

We first visited Seefeld some years ago, at a different hotel. To say we fell in love with Seefeld is perhaps a bit of an exaggeration but that delight was greatly enhanced when we discovered the Schoenegg. When Astrid first showed us round the entire hotel with a view to us subsequently booking for Xmas, we realised what a gem this family hotel is. Since then we have returned on many occasions, sometimes for Xmas with our family, sometimes at other months in the skiing season but also in the summer as a couple The Schoenegg always lives up to our expectations combining great efficiency, superb friendliness from everyone there and a warmth of hospitality which surely cannot be surpassed. Nothing is too much trouble for the fabulous staff, or owners Astrid and Martin. The food is excellent and varied and the rooms are spacious without the rather impersonal feel of hotel chains. For all these reasons we shall be returning to the Schoenegg as long as we are physically and mentally able!
