Arrived to find hotel covered with drapes as work is being carried out on the building. 1st impression was not good but the staff soon made up for that. Staff were so, so friendly & helpful. Overall, a good stay and would recommend. Room was clean and good air con. Wardrobe, clean linens and bathroom clean. Given a hair dryer at check in too. Lift to all floors which is handy. Honestly not the best choice if you want to stay for more than 3 nights at the epicentre of Barcelona. I guess we booked the best, refurbished room at the 5th floor but even so.
