This is my personal review based on my stay from 31 January to 7 February 2026. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. The location was extremely convenient for my business trip, making it easy to get around and access everything I needed. The atmosphere throughout the hotel felt welcoming and comfortable, which made coming back after long workdays very relaxing. My room was consistently clean and well-maintained. Even though I didn’t request a full cleaning every day, the staff still refreshed everything on their own, and returning to a tidy room after each trip was something I really appreciated. The cleanliness of both my room and the shared areas was excellent, and the noise level was never a problem, allowing me to rest and work without disturbance. The service stood out the most. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, polite, and always ready to help. Their attentiveness made my stay feel even more comfortable. Breakfast was also exactly what I needed, served early in the morning, properly prepared, and meeting my expectations perfectly, especially as a business traveler. Considering the quality of the service, the cleanliness, the comfort of the room, and the convenient location, I think the hotel offers very good value. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would happily return.

This property is conveniently located within the centre, a stone throw away from Antwerp Centraal station, attractions, shops (all sorts), eating place. Reasonable price. A practical accommodation for a stop between places when visiting Belgium and beyond. Room is adequate, simple interiors but pleasant, but seems like the beds are overused (noisy), temperature control is limited, carpet feels rough (no slippers) uncomfortable walking on barefeet. Shower/toilet room somehow limited space, wash basin/sink was large that too close when sat on toilet and can easily hurt your arms/elbow. So have to be very careful. Noise from the back outside can easily heard. (Note: residentials/flats are behind the property as it seems.) Friendly & welcoming receptionists though, Reception is on level 1, and so is the bar and eating place.

Stayed there for one night, twin room, booked as a Diamond member. The night before I stayed at The Hilton Old Town, which was much more expensive and not as good as this Hampton hotel. - Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. - The room was clean, nice, functional and not loud. - Breakfast was good, enough variety, good coffee etc. - The location is directly opposite to the train station and in the middle of the city. - The hotel has no parking, one has to take a public parking garage and walk two or three minutes. - I forgot my jacket in the breakfast room, including my wallet. When I realized the mistake two hours later, I went back and asked at the reception. They found the jacket and everything was still inside (thanks again!). - The rate was very good. I would always use this hotel again.

Frankly, I came on here to write a very negative review, with a “0” rating. Yet again, I ended up at a hotel that advertises air-conditioning but does not allow use of the a/c until it is the summer. European hotels with locations that have air-conditioning do this (like Accor brands) but most of those have operational windows so fresh air is possible. American chains do business like they are in the U.S., building hotels without operational windows. The difference in the U.S. is each hotel room is able to control their individual thermostat so a person can have the a/c on in one room and the heater on in the neighboring room. This situation makes the non-operational windows copasetic. When I entered my room it was a bit warm so I turned on the air conditioning on the thermostat. The room never cooled down. I called reception and asked if the a/c was operational this time of year. To her credit, the courteous lady immediately explained that the a/c will not be turned on for a few weeks. She said warm air was being blown into the room so I should turn it off, instead. I did but I still heard air flowing. I called and she said that should not be the case and she would send maintenance. I went down to the lobby to cool down as it was much cooler than my room. I decided to ask to speak to a manager wondering if there was a possibility that they could switch my room to a/c instead of heater. I am so glad I did as the manager was very kind and unlike in France and Germany where hotel reception lied at several properties, he was honest and explained that the hotel was either on cooling or heating, there is no way to have heat in one room and a/c in another room. He explained that the air coming through the register when the unit was off was not heated, it was just fresh air circulating. I was really angry before I spoke with him but his acknowledgement that it was an issue and his explaining the way the system was set up soothed my anger and my 1 star review is now a 3 star review. American hotel chains need to inject some common sense into their decision-making. How stupid to put non-operational windows in a room that does not have individual climate-control. You need to have the intelligence to realize that you cannot go half way. If you are going to put American style windows in a hotel, then have an American style climate control system. Are you that stupid? The reception personnel are lovely. The hotel is in an excellent location.Some hotels located near a major rail station seem as if they should be easy to find but it feels like a maze. This hotel is in another league as far as convenience goes. You walk out the main entrance to Centraal Station and you see the big unmissable Hampton Inn sign. The rooms are fresh and modern. I do really wish there were mini-fridges, though. There again, corporate decision makers missed the mark.
