This is the second time we have stayed at The Richmond hotel in Blankenberg. It is centrally located ideal for the shops, bars, restaurants, the Market and the beach. There is off site parking either at the school at the bottom of the street or in a nearby car park at 6Euros a day. The Hotel is clean and although is at the junction of two roads relatively quiet. There are two Tram stops nearby. Due to the ever changing one way systems it can be difficult to find your way to it. The rooms are light and airy with all facilities. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the Hotel. The breakfast is adequate with a small selection of hot food and an extensive cold selection. Fruit juice, fresh fruit tea and coffee plus a good selection of bread and rolls.

Stayed here for one night on trip to Belgium. Very central hotel, in the lovely town of Blankenberge, with long sandy beach, plenty of shops and restaurants. Also very close to Ostend and Brugge. The hotel has no car park, so you park either on the streets or there is a private car park, just up the road with plenty of space. We had a new style room, which was quite large, overlooking the street but was quiet, with a very nice bathroom. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay again

“Very Friendly Staff - Room Small - Breakfast Very Good”

This hotel is right downtown and very close to the beach - an easy walk. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. This hotel is right downtown and very close to the beach - an easy walk. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. Our room was small and it was a little tight for me to walk around the foot of the bed as there was a small table I had to pass by with 12” of space. The limited space resulted in the TV (probably 20”) being placed high on the wall above, almost touching the ceiling. The room was clean and had closet storage and ample shelves to hold our stuff. There were two nice floor to ceiling window that led to a small balcony. The street outside the hotel is very busy but the sounds weren’t detectible with the windows closed. The internet wasn’t solidly reliable and seemed to go in and out. You don’t want to try and stream any video here or use the internet for getting any work done. Breakfast was very good - scrambled and hard boiled eggs, different deli meats and cheese, assorted rolls/bread and spreads, yogurt and three kinds of juice (the orange was very good). They had a coffee machine with regular, cappuccino and hot chocolate. They even had bottled water available. They did a very nice job indeed! Ice cubes are available from the bar - just ask the nice folks at the front desk! We enjoyed our stay here and hope to return.

“Nice hotel in center of Blankenberge ”

It is a nice 3* hotel nearby the beach. Although bit old fashioned. Room little space to walk to bathroom. Advice take one table with chairs out. It is too much. Everything needs a little make-over. Staff very friendly. Breakfast good.
