“A ‘Proper’ Hotel…”
We stayed here for three nights, and really enjoyed the hotel. Travelled by motorcycle so wanted somewhere with secure parking. “Exceptional.......”
The location of this hotel is perfect. The staff are all exceptional and extremely helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. A swim in the basement pool was ideal after a day walking around the city. Breakfast was very good.

“Clean, close to everything”
The location is great and the building looks very elegant on the outside. However, the rooms are totally basic. They are basically gray boxes which is a shame for a historic building. There’s no art, personality, anything interesting about them at all. I wish I knew what they originally looked like… more
