It was a good studio room so you have to cook yourself as I didn't notice if there was a food facility there Nice modular kitchen with good lighting fridge,beeko self ignition gas stove, washing machine and dish washer(I didn't use this one because I was just solo)

The apartment is close to South train station. The area is certainly not the best and there is some noise during the night (or evening) of trains, trams, buses and people. I could in any case sleep without problems. There are no restaurant nearby. But it is a short walk to the centre (if you are not all too worried about the dark streets). Reception is friendly and on the first floor of the building. It opens only at nine in the morning which is rather strange. But they are open late in the afternoon. I had a large four bed apartment with sufficient space for four people. Each apartment has its own name and style accents. Mine was Savannah so I had an African decoration but also some weird Buddha lamps. Good beds, cosy and warm. Bit of trouble to work out the television and cable system (an instruction would have helped as had an overview of the channels available). Bathroom is also large but they could have installed a wider bath. For showering it feels a bit crampy. Also the towel rack was broken already for a while I reckon. Kitchen provides all long-stay facilities: oven, microwave, dish-washer and a washing machine. They are a bit tight on coffee and cups and it only has seating space for two. But I suppose two people is the usual habitation. I had a good sleep here, though I would not choose this as a hotel for a short stay, but it could be excellent for a family to stay for a week or so (though the price is maybe a bit high).

“Glad the lift was working”

This property is a 5 minute walk from Brussels Midi station which is quite convenient. Once we entered the building and could see how small the staircase was I was pleased to see the lift was working even though it was tiny. I have a mobility problem and use a walker so I would not have been able to get up or down the stairs if it wasn't. Our apartment was quite spacious and we had a balcony which was really good. It was clean but had some display cabinets in it that weren't necessary and just took up room. Unfortunately the cable TV wasn't working so we had no channels that spoke English. We were given some old DVD's to watch but that wasn't much good. The lounge was broken at one end and the iron leaked badly when I tried to use it and they didn't have a replacement. So it is annoying that you pay for these things and you don't get them, you feel as though you have been ripped off a little. Food is fairly expensive and the only supermarket we could find was in the train station and had little to offer, but eggs on toast was better than take away and cheaper than a restaurant. Having said all that we were quite comfortable most of the time but I am not sure we would stay here again.
