“Exceptional bed and breakfast and a great base if you are visiting for the Ronde.”
This is an exceptional place to stay: fantastic rooms and catering and the hosts (Elkie and Wout) are amazingly attentive and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble for them! We based ourselves at B&B Scheldekant for the Ronde and its tourist ride the day before - it was the perfect location.

“Beautiful situated B&B alongside the river, lovely garden. Excellent hosts.”
This is a beautiful B&B, we booked a room with twin beds. Unfortunately when we say the bed in the room it was a double one but our hostess said it was no problem and changed this double bed easily into two twins, only the double-bed top mattress had to be left out. “The best of the best!”
We spent 4 nights at the B&B Scheldekant for the Tour of Flanders weekend. It is a great location if you are coming to this event - situated on a quiet and attractive river towpath c 5km downstream of Oudenaarde where the event finishes and which turns into the cycling capital of Europe for a weeke… more

Such a lovely place to stay at. Both Elke and Wout are such warm and welcoming people. Nothing to complain about when it comes to service.
