“Perfect”

We went to a sports tournament. The accommodation was fine. The food was perfect, they even prepared several types of gluten-free food for me every day, even though I was the only one with this diet. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. I recommend accommodation in this hotel.

The hotel location is strategic very close to the bus and tram station, markets, airport, shopping mall and the river. The hotel clean and spotless the bed is comfortable. The hotel location is strategic very close to the bus and tram station, markets, airport, shopping mall and the river. The hotel clean and spotless the bed is comfortable. All the staff are very cooperative and friendly, pleasant and help me alot to find places and ease traveller tour they even suggest interested places. They lend me the hotel bicycle I am so satisfied I definitely will return back thanks for everything I felt like I am with my family Best regards.

“Consider it for night life better then accomodation place”

Not sure I would ever recommend it for staying there for even a night. I wouldn't even recommend it as a great restaurant. Not sure I would ever recommend it for staying there for even a night. I wouldn't even recommend it as a great restaurant. But, if you're looking for a great traditional Balkan style night life do not skip this place while in Sarajevo. Try to plan a Saturday late dinner there and experience how it looks like when food on the table is replaced by people who were eating at the same tables just few hours ago. If you're looking for a peaceful place hotel Bosna is not for you, but if you are looking for a crazy Balkan style party dancing on chairs and tables with topical Eton Balkan music do not skip it.

“Hotel's photo and reality are two different things”

Hotel Bosna 1 looks nice, tidy and clean when you watch those pics on the internet. Unfortunately, when you look closer it has a lot of flaws. First thing my husband and I noticed that our room smelled on cigarettes although that was no smoking room, which was also cold. There was some dust. The carpet was stained. The sheets seemed to be fresh and clean, but the thin blanket had stains and was really worn out. The bathroom should get a good general cleaning – check my photos. I don’t understand why is so difficult for those responsible to change the broken light bulb or to cover the bulb on the ceiling. It’s not a big deal, it’s not expensive, it takes just a little effort which shows a guest they care. The glass near sink was disgusting, so was the plastic screen on the bathtub, the toilet had two big stains of glue … Breakfast was served from 7. till 10., if I remember correctly. We came to a restaurant at 8.45, there was almost no food left and they didn’t replace it. But, the good thing is that they bring you what you want and need, if you ask. We were served by not a very pleasant waiter, but he didn’t leave us hungry or thirsty. The biggest problem for me was that I couldn’t sleep in this hotel. 1. The airport is very close. You can see airplanes approach so low it's amazing to watch - which means a lot of noise. 2. Under our window there was streetcar driving at least until midnight. 3. On the 4th floor of the hotel is (every evening) live turbo (Bosnian) music which when on and on at least until 3 o’clock in the morning. 4. Our room was close to the reception (by the way, the receptionists were nice) so I could still hear the staff and the guests talking at 2 a.m. If you think you could have trouble sleeping because all of the above, bring your earplugs. Or drink a lot of beer before you crash your bed. In Sarajevo have quite solid and very cheap beer, so go for it. I would return to Sarajevo, I liked it, it’s interesting city, nice people, tasty food, but I would rather go on my own and pay a little bit more then travel again with an agency with a program which includes a booked hotel.
