“Great location, friendly staff”

A very friendly welcome at the hotel from staff who were always prepared to help and advise. My ground floor room was tidy with some lovely furniture, but I did find it dark and the bathroom a little small. Breakfast was on the upper floor and was lovely with tables laid out individually. “Worst Spa Experience Ever”

Everything was good. Very friendly helpful and accommodating. The traditional Bosnian breakfast was absolutely amazing. However, never ever ever get the Pedicure at the spa!! Frequently asked questions about Isa Begov Hamam Hotel

  • Does Isa Begov Hamam Hotel have good guest reviews?

Yes, guests at Isa Begov Hamam Hotel have highlighted that: A huge thank you to our wonderful hosts at this charming hotel who made us feel more like members of their family while still maintaining professionalism and all we needed for a fabulous stay in charming Sarajevo. The hotel is in the perfect spot to explore the city with many attractions in easy walking distance, particularly the atmospheric colourful Baščaršija area which we loved. The hotel building is next to a mosque and originally housed a hammam (Turkish bath); in fact you can still experience the Turkish bath with free use of saunas and hot tubs in the hotel. Our room was large and spotlessly clean, but a little dark, however we soon got used to that and loved its comfortable bed and seating. We soon mastered the complicated plumbing for a decent shower. It seems like everybody smokes in Bosnia (even in restaurants) and certainly there was a smell of cigarette smoke in some parts of the hotel even though it’s supposed to be non-smoking, but that was a minor issue. Special thanks to Baharl and Soner plus Nico in the evenings, Gasna and Mohammed at breakfast and others whose names I can’t remember – all were warm and welcoming and super helpful. We don’t know when we’ll be back in Sarajevo, but if we do come back, we would love to revisit this delightful hotel.
