In February, we stayed five days and four nights at the Jungle Lodge. We chose the Jungle Lodge for its location and price range, as well as its many positive reviews. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lodge is rustic and simple, just the way we like it. But the important comforts are in place. The excellent staff always make sure that cold drinks and good food is at hand. In fact, we think the most outstanding feature of the lodge is the staff, who are all friendly and professional while providing excellent service all around; dining area, cleaning staff, and guides. They all worked hard and took pride in the lodge and what it offers. The rooms are simple but comfortable, although showers can be a bit tight and beds a bit firm. Wildlife proliferates around the lodge so prepare for caracara clamouring on the ceiling above you or perhaps a frog in your room. This is the Pantanal during the wet season! It is wild and gets you close to nature. Our safaris on water and land were adventurous and fun, with sightings of caiman (they are at the lodge sunning too along with resident capybara), giant otter, monkeys, deer, and millions of birds. The Jungle Lodge is running an ethical operation, no baiting to bring in jaguars and using sustainable systems like solar for water heating. We would definitely stay here again.

Die Lodge ist sehr abgelegen mitten in der Natur direkt am Fluss, die Lage könnte nicht besser sein. Angefangen vom perfekten Transfer dorthin, der sehr guten und sauberen Unterkunft, dem netten Personal, und unserem fantastischen Guide Boby war alles wunderbar. Hervorherben möchte ich nicht nur die Bar, den Pool sondern auch das fantastische Essen, die Qualität ist . Nirgends sieht man so viel Natur wie dort, von bunten Vögeln, Kaimanen bis hin sogar zum Jaguar den wir gesichtet haben, ist alles dabei. Ich war 4 Tage dort und hatte eine super Zeit. The lodge is very secluded, surrounded by nature, right next to the river; the location couldn't be better. From the perfect transfer there, the very good and clean accommodation, the friendly staff and our fantastic guide Boby, everything was wonderful. I want to highlight not only the bar and the pool, but also the fantastic food, which is of exceptional quality, especially considering how isolated the place is. Nowhere else can you see so much nature as there, from colourful birds and caimans to the jaguar we spotted, it has it all. Lots of nice people, very clean, good (and enough) food and the tours are amazing. My tour guide Boby spoke perfectly English and also helped me with other stuff (like transportation, translating etc) An absolute must do!
