“A lovely restful place to stay in Pirenopolis”

We booked two nights at the Divina Posada and enjoyed it tremendously. It's located within walking distance of the centre of Pirenopolis, but far enough away so that you are not bothered by the noise. The posada has been recently renovated and it is a lovely place to stay, not large, but big enough to offer all the amenities. The rooms are quite large, with high ceilings, well decorated and with very good bathrooms. The beds were excellent and extremely comfortable. There is a mid-sized swimming pool and quiet nooks where one can read or nap. We found the staff to be very helpful and attentive. The breakfasts were delicious with lots of choices and served in an elegant way. Plenty of beverages are available, from fresh juice to good beers and wine. The posadas also serves dinners and we ate there both nights. The first night we had two different styles of bacalhau, the Portuguese salted, dry cod. Both dishes were prepared individually and were excellent. We highly recumbent them. For dessert, we had home made brownies with a chocolate syrup and whipped cream. Excellent. The second night we had been dishes which were good, but not nearly as satisfying as the codfish. The only quibble is that the rooms do not have wi-fi. You have to go to the public area (just a minute away) to connect. Divina is a very elegant posada that we would certainly stay in again.

We stayed with four people for two nights and all four of us loved this pousada. It is really well run with professional, friendly and helpful staff. The location is close to the center but down a quiet road. The rooms are set around the gorgeous pool. It never felt crowded as there is space between the sunbeds and tables in the restaurant. The breakfast is excellent, with a huge choice and available from 8am to 6pm! We ate lunch once and it was cooked freshly for us. The rooms are large and very clean. The bed was great and linen and towels were good. The staff were helpful with a day trip recommendation. Drinks beside the pool in the evening were great, all in all a great place to stay in a pretty town.

“GREAT WEEKEND PERFECT LOCATION”

If you want to fell pampered there is no better place to be. From the small amenities to the the staff there is only good to say. Respect for the client and if I can say: I felt the love they have to host you. Perfect breakfast, delicious food. Will comeback many times. Flavia Reisman
