“Great hotel”
Great hotel with good ammenities. Very nice pool and friendly staff. Located right by the sea and with good restaurants in walking distance.

“Quality, full service hotel across Praia de Atalaia.”
My wife and I stayed 3 nights, arriving by rental car at 2PM and parking in front to check in. An English speaking receptionist copied our passports, took our payment and provided our key cards. “Good hotel for business and leisure”
Overall, quite a good experience. The building is rather old, but rooms are spacious and renovated. Facilities are ok, including a nice and large swimming pool. Excellent breakfast, even for Mercure standards. Good location, close to the beach and with lots of espace to exercise (walk, run, etc).

Room was basic and a bit tired but for a holiday hotel it was OK. (It reminded me of package hotels in Spain in the early 80's).
