“Very nice Hotel with easy to beach and feel at home with sympathy of staff.”

Suites are excellent with beautiful scenery of beach from balcony and very polite staff always ready to help us.Nice breakfast lunch and dinner. Nice swimming pool with barserving light referecement. Around lots of options of shopping like sovinior and convinient stores. .

We arrived about 1am, delivered to the wrong entrance (the beach) by the Uber driver. The streets were dead, all shops shuttered, the beach deserted etc. Nevertheless there was someone on the street evidently from the hotel and in a short time after getting our luggage from the cab we were being shown into the hotel. From the beach entrance we were taken past the restaurant area to the lifts and then up to reception, which is actually at the back of the hotel on the 3rd floor (Uber drivers please note, those without Portuguese may have been a little more confused by this than we were and less able to immediately assess that the guy on the street was from the Hotel and not some "nair do well"....). We were checked in efficiently and shown to our rooms. In the sultry early hours under harsh blue LED lights our first impressions were not good, the room seemed sparsely furnished and stuffy as we entered it, the corridors a little bare. But, our first impressions were wrong. In the morning in daylight the Hotel looked much jollier, the beachfront and "in the middle of it" location could hardly be better. Even the sparse hotel furnishing became clearer as Scandinavian influenced efficient adequateness rather than an absence of quality, the owners and management are Norwegian as is apparent from two truly huge mural photographs only visible to guests inside the hotel. The furniture and fittings were what you needed, of decent quality, sturdy and durable and things worked (e.g. room access via modern card system, aircon, fridge, safe, TVs, shower, lights etc). We stayed half-board and the food was good, the wines good and reasonably priced (two things that don't always go together in Brazil). We didn't find ourselves wishing we hadn't gone half-board in order to try out some of the options in the surrounding area and the city (maybe next time!). The pool area is shady and pleasant in the afternoon. The beach literally across the not too busy road where beach Barracas will look after you all day. Food, drink and comfort on the beach all day for £15-£30 a head, what's not to like. My only slight moans would be that the hotel pool is not big or deep enough to actually swim in, but, that won't bother most people, and, the sea is very near and warm too. We used the gym once or twice which is adequate, but, maybe one or two items need refreshing.

The hotel was very clean and well located on the Ponta Negra beach. Good view from the room. The breakfast buffet is a good one with an omelet cook at the ready. The dinner buffet is abundant and compete. We special ordered grilled fish which the staff was happy to prepare. [The buffet offering is normally breaded and fried shrimp and fish in heavy sauces.] We would like to give the waitress Márcia a special shout out for her friendly and personal service. She a lovely person: smiling and always upbeat. Thank you Márcia (!) from Gaby and Chris. We love you. The room lacked a comfortable living area. Just a small sofa. No table or chairs. There was a coffee table and two wood chairs on the balcony.

“Good time in Ponta Negrao”

The hotel is in front of the beach, perfect location to enjoy Ponta Negra. The room is very large and confortable, the staff is very friendly. Especially Debora, Marcos, Mateus e Kawa, they made my time very enjoyable and relaxing! Defenetely, I want to come back!
