“Helpful personnel”
I even got upgraded, when I was not so thrilled about my room. One can also use the accommodations of the bigger sister Hotel Girassol Plaza (the finest in town). Every few years I am visiting my daughter here in Palmas and use the city as a hub for more trips into Brasil. I will certainly come bac… more

“Good choice in Palmas”
Palmas not being on the touristic map, the choice of hotels is small (and the prices high). But the Pousada dos Girassois is a good place, clean, decent WI-FI, good breakfast and a little patio with swimming pool. Staff are also friendly.

Having in mind that Palmas is a young city, founded only in 1989, you won't find many good choices with a fair price. “Nice and friendly”
I stayed here on two occassions and you would need to know which room to look for. The first time, my room was very small and dark. The second time, i got an upstairs room with balcony which was much better. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast had a great choice.The room comes with mini b… more
