Il Campanario Villagio Resort is a great place to stay. Location is great: beach is just five blocks from the back of the hotel.One can walk there. On the beach you will find hotel´s staff who will provide all you need (parasol, lounge chair) and will provide anything you like to drink. Seaside is wonderful and you have many meters to walk. At the hotel there is an outside swimming pool and a big heated pool. The second day of our stay was not so warm outside so we could swim at the heated pool. There is also a big gym with many walking machines and bycicles. Some of them, unluckily, were out of order all the days we were there. We took the hotel transfer from the airport. Check-in was smooth and the room was quite comfortable and, if you like, you could buy something to eat nearby the hotel and use the microwave at the room. Though we did not use it, it is a great option. There are many places where one can buy food and there is also a street with some restaurants within walking distance. No beauty ammenities: only those wall soaps and shampoos, as is now used. I long for the other kind of ammenities. Our only complaint was with the housekeeping: we returned after noon and the room had not been cleaned. It is true that once we asked for it, it was done as soon as possible but I think that this should have be done early in the morning. We have left the notice to ask for it. Breakfast is delicious in a great light room . Many healthy choices, many sweets also if you prefer. It was our first time there but they allowed us a late check out: that was very kind of them.

The resort itself was pleasant but definitely in need of an upgrade. The rooms were spacious and equipped with a small kitchenette, sofa, and TV, but everything felt outdated and worn. The shower might have been impressive 20 years ago, but it’s clearly due for a renovation. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent, and the seating area was charming. The beach access and beach service were both very good, and although we didn’t use the pools, they looked appealing and well-maintained. The resort appears to be very family-friendly, so if you’re a couple seeking a quieter, more relaxing stay, this might not be the best choice. The staff were generally friendly, but not particularly accommodating when it came to arranging a slightly later check-out or assisting us with lost property. Not only did we struggle to reach someone after checking out to retrieve a forgotten item, but the resort also misplaced a shirt we had sent for dry cleaning. While we acknowledge that mistakes can happen, the staff’s lack of helpfulness in trying to resolve these issues was disappointing. On the plus side, the location was excellent—conveniently close to beachside restaurants and a shopping center.
