Lovely hotel set slightly away from the hustle and bustle/but a free 5 min shuttle bus or short walk from the Sunny Beach front. Firstly the Water Park, for any family coming this was simply amazing. Full access given 10am until 5pm and drinks from the all inclusive hotel could be taken in. Could easily have spent the full 10 days in here. The hotel, looks recently modernized inside. Rooms of good size, beds comfortable but would advise bringing a firm pillow. Air Con is a must and is free. Annoying you have an option to pay for a room safe, but the rooms were secure and staff friendly. WiFi was free. All you can eat and drink, variety every day. No complaint on food. Taco Tuesday was my personal favourite. Spirits and cocktails use local stuff, not the best. Beer is ok. Entertainment. For myself having 3 young children big shout out to the Animation Team. They put on entertainment for kids and adults everyday and they take alot of pride in what they do. Shout out to Mil, Yo,Ellie,Sisko,Kris and Cvetan. They made our holiday memorable! I'd say adult evening entertainment was ok but not the best, but we are not into the season yet (starting 20th June), so can't judge fully. Location, for use with a family it was perfect and we had our beach and going out days. Very good of the hotel to offer a short 5 minute free shuttle transfer which runs regularly. Transfer from hotel to the airport was only 25 minutes. Other places to go, nessebar old and new town. Hourly public bus from near the hotel or regular services from Flower Street, Sunny Beach. Verdict. I booked an 11 night holiday, no thrills, more for the kids. The holiday lived up to the expectation, and cost wise very reasonable for this time of year for an all inclusive package. We did go into a bar on Sunny Beach and since Bulgaria moved to the Euro in January, some regulars advise bars have inflated prices. It was 25 euro for 1 iced coffee, 1 beer, 3 soft drinks and a plate of chips. Glad we went all inclusive at the hotel. Thanks to all staff for making our holiday an enjoyable one.

Family of 4 staying for 9 nights, arranged through Jet2. As this was a relatively cheap getaway we expected a rather basic holiday - but were pleasantly surprised by a superb hotel, decent food and an outstanding animation team! Daily cleaning of rooms. Beds weren't the comfiest but we made do. The sliding doors on the family room works well to give the impression of a multi-room at night. With the evening entertainment closing down at 22:30 each night, we never had to deal with any noise issues. Only gripe is that we visited in mid-late May - we possibly should have waited another month so that the water could warm up a bit more. The entry to the pool took your breath away, but once you had been in for a few minutes everything was fine. Kids entertainment was superb & the daily kids disco went down well with everyone. Ellie, Yo and the rest of the animation team were great with the kids. Always something available to eat and drink (until 20:30 anyway) made life easy. The water park is fantastic! I would gladly return, but having done all rides multiple times I think I'd also venture out to the nearby Nessebar Water Park. Whilst there we got the free shuttle bus down to Sunny Beach, dipped our toes in the Black Sea, walked the pier and bought some tat from the markets. We also visited Nessebar Old Town which was beautiful! If you go there, nip by Michael's Eco Bar for a unique experience.

We went with Jet2. Paid extra for a family room as wanted the extra space. When we arrived at the room it was a double room - not a family room - so 3 of us where sharing a room (no mention of this when checking in). Went to reception who told me it was due to a technical error with the room and I'd have to wait till the morning to sort it (they were very ready with these answers - as if its a common thing). I said I expected compensation which seemed to be accepted. Didn't sleep well as felt stressed with the situation and not knowing what was going on. Spoke to someone new in the morning who again gave vague answers around a 'technical' error with the room and said they 'may' be able to put us in a family room before we left. This was disappointing obviously as i wouldn't have booked the holiday in a double room. When i mentioned compensation, the woman said she would have to wait for the 'reservation team' to look at it. When i asked what that meant she became visibly annoyed. Anyway, long story short - I got onto Jet2 that morning and within a few hours we had a prime family room. Probably because I mentioned that my son is technically disabled so thats why i booked a family room with extra space. After that I was able to enjoy the holiday. Also spoke to the Jet2 rep the next day who promised compensation (still haven't received that however). I haven't been on an all inclusive before so wasn't sure what to expect for £1500 al in for 3 people. The food was OK. A fair amount of it just tasted rather cheap. My boy resorted to basically eating chips and cake for most of the time we were there which wasn't ideal. I learned that the pasta and grill stations were the safest option. Also, for non drinkers the options are very limited. I was hoping for one 0% beer but no such luck. The water park is very ideal and the best thing about the hotel. We only really left once to go to the beach (the walk there is nowhere near as bad as I had seen in reviews). So yeah was overall a good experience, my boy is autistic but was able to join in the dancing on the stage of an evening which was great to see, but not in a rush to go back. I would say its just on the right side of cheap and cheerful.
