We arrived late at night due to a delay with our flight. The hotel had put on some sandwiches for the guests which was a lovely gesture. In the morning we asked if we could move to a sea view room which they kindly obliged. The staff were friendly and helpful. All the staff at the pool bar were great, but Martina was an absolute star and nothing was too much trouble. The food was good, great choice, perhaps not as hot as I would have liked, but that is to be expected with buffet style. Each evening was a different theme which was good and breakfast was also excellent with many options available. There was also a little cafe if you wanted a sweet afternoon snack. The pools were great, cold, but you great for cooling you down. The hotel was in a great position, close to the action, but not too close. Plenty of bars and restaurants around if you wanted to eat out. We also played crazy golf which was good fun! A great stay all round.

We were a little concerned about heading to this hotel after reading some of the reviews but we were very pleasantly surprised! Our room was perfectly clean and tidy, spacious and we had a central sea view with balcony. Towels and mini bar were changed and restocked every day (mini bar items are only 2 cans of local beer, a bottle of lemonade and a large bottle of water but the fridge was handy to keep our own items in) and beds were changed when asked. Food was good, plenty of choice, but alot of pork was served and it can get a bit repetative but on the whole it was decent. We ate out a couple of times just for a bit of change. We arrived the last week of September so some of the areas had already closed but this didnt impact our stay too much. The pool areas are spotlessly clean and the pool bar served drinks and cocktails all day. All staff were friendly and polite and very helpful, wasnt so keen on the big guy in the lobby bar who was very full of himself and appeared to be drinking while on shift. But otherwise all staff we encountered were lovely. The only thing we would have done differently is next year we would go a little earlier in September before the resort closes for the winter but we will definitely be back!

PROS 1. Pools area very clean and pleasant as is the hotel in general and dining room. 2. Food is good quality and plentiful 3. Entertainer Martin, was the only entertainer to come around the sunbeds to introduce himself and engage us to join in activities in our second week stay. He is pleasant and good fun along with his colleague (I didn't get his name) 4. The reception guys Zhelyo and Kosta who were helpful to the max in resolving our dyer situation created by easy jet. So a massive thank you to them. 🙏 5. Always a pleasant greeting when entering the dinning room, which is nice. 6. Overall the hotel and grounds are well kept and a credit them. CONS 1. Appalling WiFi connection especially around the pool 2. Activities advertised had finished the week previously, only darts when the board is fixed up correctly (it fell down) game over, and aqua aerobics. 3. Pools very chilly, not too bad once you in, but..... 🥶 Keep swimming! 4. Used crockery left to pile up on table, only removed when you've finished or requested it to be cleared. 5. Lobby bar is dimly lit and depressing, no atmosphere whatsoever. 6. House keeping is hit and miss. 7. Staff generally are miserable, in the main including the dining room supervisor, who it appears people/guests are an inconvenience. 8. Entertainers didn't engage with guests, we couldn't understand or hear the announcements in our first week of stay. 9. Activity board was not updated on our arrival, so we expected activities as displayed, but we were disappointed as they were finished for the season. 😞

“Would not return not quite what we expected, definitely not 4 stars or above.”

Reception area is very gloomy, staff are miserable through out, the only friendly member was the lady standing by the restaurant door. Rooms are very out dated, clean but need updating badly. Reception area is very gloomy, staff are miserable through out, the only friendly member was the lady standing by the restaurant door. Rooms are very out dated, clean but need updating badly. Had a terrible smell of faeces coming from the drains in bathrooms, it was sorted very promptly though. Around the pool wasn’t the cleanest. Food is average, not great for fussy eaters. Tables were never cleared staff waited until you left until they cleared any plates they were left to pile up. Entertainment wasn’t the best, we spent more time out of the hotel on sunny beach strip, which was lovely but an extra cost to the holiday. If you have a late check out and pay the extra cost to keep a room you still have to be out by 6pm we had to wait 7 hours in reception until we were picked up which isn’t great if you have young children. Over all I’d say it is a 3 star definitely not 4 as stated.
