From start to finish this was a fantastic holiday from the welcome we got to the hotel when we arrived late at night to checking out was flawless. The animation team are fantastic and great fun. Brilliant for children and families. The hotel was spotless constantly people cleaning all areas of the hotel. The bar and restaurant staff are brilliant and not much waiting time for drinks. Plenty of options for food and drinks. Would definitely come back again ideally located beside the beach and not far from the airport also.

“Below expectations”

I wouldn't say it's a 4* hotel, based on what it provides. For example, drinking water in the room, we received only a 1.5 liter bottle and ONLY upon check-in. It was never replanished. Slippers or toiletries, no. Just liquid soap, shower gel and shampoo in bottles fixed to the wall. The beach experience is totally disappointing! Not being close to the hotel, they don't have a beach bar, so the "all inclusive" concept disappears here. No possibility to get a drink without paying extra. Also, there is no toilet on the beach. And the guy in charge of the beach, sooooo grumpy and RUDE. One must get to the beach early in the morning in order to get sunbeds and must STAY there because of the rule with removing towels annd personal belongings after 30 minutes of "inactivity". Well, the beach is quite far from the hotel, how can you go for breakfast or lunch and be back in 30 minutes maximum? Taking turns to eat? Is this a vacation? The food is tasty, yes, but the desserts are almost always the same. Limited selection of fruits. And as for the cleanliness: I happened to be around once when the maid came into the room. I heard her cleaning the toilet with chemicals and toilet brush. After she left and I came in, there was water all over the floor around the toilet, most likely water that had been splashed out of the toilet while cleaning. She didn't bother to wipe it up. Yuck!

The public areas are clean and are cleaned constantly (sometimes a bit too constantly – you can be eating breakfast while someone is sweeping right between your feet 🙄). The hotel has been renovated, but the rooms have very little storage space for clothes. The public areas are clean and are cleaned constantly (sometimes a bit too constantly – you can be eating breakfast while someone is sweeping right between your feet 🙄). Unfortunately, the rooms are only cleaned superficially. During my 7-day stay, housekeeping only changed the towels and emptied the bins. The bathroom floor, sink, shower tray, and mirrors were never cleaned. The walls are extremely thin, so you can hear everything – your neighbours talking, crying children, and even family arguments. The food is what you would expect from an all-inclusive resort – everyone should be able to find something they like. The à la carte dinner at the steakhouse, however, was a huge disappointment. There is only one steak on the menu (which makes you wonder why it's called a steakhouse). Whether you order it medium-rare or medium, you'll receive the same dry, overcooked piece of meat. Drinks are charged extra, so I'd recommend skipping it altogether. There are also two themed buffet restaurants, but the themed dinners have very little to do with the cuisines they're supposed to represent. The icing on the cake is the cigarette smoke that comes free of charge. Passive smoking should probably be listed as part of the all-inclusive package. Eating outside on the terrace without breathing in cigarette smoke is practically impossible. As for the entertainment... I'm honestly not sure where all the positive reviews come from. The animation team tries their best, but the performances are so embarrassing that you don't know whether to laugh or cry. Maybe my mistake was watching them sober. 😬 The beach is what you'd expect in Bulgaria – cigarette butts everywhere in the sand, no hotel beach bar, and only two sunbeds per room (with no information about this on the hotel's website). If you're staying in a triple room, one person has to sit on the sand despite having paid for an all-inclusive holiday that supposedly includes a sunbed. The biggest disappointment, however, is the attitude of the staff. Many of them seem to treat guests with complete indifference or even contempt. You ask for water and get wine or cola instead. You say "good morning" and get a look that says, "What do you want?" It's no surprise that the tip boxes were empty. The only staff members who consistently knew how to treat guests professionally were the Ukrainian employees. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were full of children and, unfortunately, not very clean. If you manage to find this hotel at a very good price, you might decide it's worth overlooking these issues. However, in my opinion, it's definitely not worth paying a premium for this hotel.
