The hotel is huge, we had a great view from c block floor 7. The room was very spacious, good aircon and large balcony, Very clean and cleaned daily. 2 bathrooms very modern was a great touch. We arrived at midnight and unlike other reviews didnt get offer of any food ! Which didnt really bother us. Some bottled water at room would be a plus, though we quickly learnt there is water and coffee available on every floor, The food was good although a little repetitve as a lot of all inclusives are. Though i didnt go up for 2nds as i did in turkey! No biggie though, No food available after 9pm which again didnt bother us, The pizza hut was a huge hit with the kids, Ice cream and slushies also available, The giant pretzels were also excellent ! Special mention to the route66 snack bar guy with ginger beard always smiling and friendly, also a couple bar guys, some not so happy but they are at work whilst we are on holiday ! The beach was beautiful and very nearby with your own hotel section with paninis which were ok and drinks and ice cream all included, Tip- exit rear of hotel and go 50 yards left to find your beach section, melia is printed on the parasols over free sunbeds apart from 3 rows near sea which looked chargeable, toilets also convenient. The entertainment was pretty good for kids, no karaoke though which was unusual ! The Indian was ok, not loads of choice though, We didnt try the chinese at rear of hotel. Drinks were decent standard and the cocktails were pretty lethal as i found out ! The pools were good fun, main one gets busy, Slides were good fun too Could always find sun loungers too which was a bonus unless after 12 pm then a bit trickier. There is a funfair nearby left and loads of bars and restaurants at reasonable prices, Very busy at times ! The markets also sell a lot of fake clothing which seemed very expensive to us. Overall i highly recommend this hotel, we all had a great time, We turned right at rear of hotel and a short walk found an excursion company who were very friendly and we booked nessebar waterpark, only a 20 minute drive away with free transport provided, This is a must in my opinion, great vibe here with music playing, €11 for a meal was great value, though the catering staff werent overly friendly. Didnt ruin our fun though. Queues werent bad until mid day onwards and only really on the cobra and space shuttle slide Half hour wait per slide! Thank you Bulgaria for a great holiday and melia hotel for a wonderful stay, If it sounds like your thing, book up, you wont be dissapointed, Only thing was our last day checked out at 12 and not picked up for airport until 9pm, Half hour transfer to Bourgas, which was a great airport and clean Can only find out for checkout extension on morning of departure, we didnt get the extra 4hrs for €40, if you want to do this try phoning prior to your holiday as we emailed several times with no response. One last thing to add, hotel wifi was poor, could be due to block/floor location, however unlike the UK the 5G was fantastic, so ensure plenty of data if your a mobile phone junkie !

“Nice but small issues”

Nice hotel, staff mostly friendly, some not the happiest but we all get bad days. Very clean hotel always tidying and cleaning this alone would make me recommend. Nice hotel, staff mostly friendly, some not the happiest but we all get bad days. Very clean hotel always tidying and cleaning this alone would make me recommend. Pools, all very cold but nice enough. Pool outside block c is shallower for younger guests. Only small issue was the lifeguards no jumping, diving or drinking near the pool....understandable, however teenagers HAMMERING a volleyball from one side to another with baby's and toddlers about, absolutely fine. This needs stopped before someone gets badly hurt. Other pools were just as cold but deeper and slides and kiddy pool seemed to be fun from the kids antics. Rooms nice and spacious but the drain in ours was very slow and turned into a bit of a bath after a while, wifi was horrific so don't count on it. Bars were all fast service and decent drinks but cocktails were definitely lacking. Evening entertainment was lackluster some shows were very good but others were just 'meh'. Food was very good all round good amounts and at good temperatures, good variety offered but didn't change much so got a bit samey. Pizza as good and as others have said the ginger beard guy at the pool snack bar was very friendly and somehow made making a burger theatrical. Yes and watch the seagulls!!! Definitely recommend for families but no way would I go there as a couple far too many screaming kids. Nothing to do with the hotel but if you want a small shock order a mcdonalds at the airport most commen saying was 'I'm not that hungry' so make sure you have a bite to eat before you leave.

“If you want quiet holiday its not for you but if you like butlins youll love it.”

The hotel is mainly setup for young children its basically Butlins in the sun, if you after a quiet holiday this isnt for you if your after lots of other chilren for them to mix with youll love it. the location is perfect & food wasnt too bad but not the best.

I would describe this hotel as a typical budget resort – the price is more or less in line with the quality. The rooms are spacious, although the bathtub in our room was leaking. The food was average but acceptable. The daytime snacks were also quite disappointing. Overall, the hotel feels like a huge, crowded holiday factory rather than a relaxing resort. The biggest disappointment in terms of dining was the beach bar. Between 10:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., the only food available was a single type of sandwich, along with beer and soft drinks from a dispenser. This is definitely not what you would expect from an all-inclusive hotel. The greatest disappointment, however, was the reception staff. At the very beginning of our stay, I asked about purchasing a late check-out, which we were more than willing to pay for because our return flight had been rescheduled to the evening. We were travelling with two small children and an elderly family member with health issues, so being able to stay in our room for a few extra hours was extremely important to us. We were told that late check-out was available and that the final decision would be made on the day of departure. On the day of check-out, I was repeatedly sent away from the reception desk and told to come back an hour later. One receptionist in particular—a tall man with dark hair—and his female colleague behaved very unprofessionally. Instead of showing any understanding, they appeared dismissive and indifferent to our situation. Shrugging their shoulders, making sarcastic remarks, and speaking about us in their native language while laughing was completely unacceptable. A little goodwill would have been enough to adjust the next guests’ reservation so that we could remain in our room for a few additional hours, especially since I had requested this at the very beginning of our stay. Unfortunately, there was no willingness to help. After numerous requests and explanations, we were offered what seemed to be a solution but was, in reality, completely unreasonable. We were expected to move all of our packed luggage to a room in another building for just four hours—and pay an additional €45 for it. That is not what “late check-out” means. As a result, we completely lost the last day of our holiday. For this reason, the hotel does not feel family-friendly. Having to pack all of our belongings in the middle of the hotel lobby before a late evening flight was a terrible experience. Many hotels at least provide a courtesy room where guests can shower, change clothes, and prepare for their journey in comfortable conditions. An even bigger surprise was discovering that our luggage had been removed from the luggage storage room and left unattended in the hotel lobby. Anyone could have taken it. When we pointed this out, we were simply told, “Well, nothing was stolen.” Such an attitude towards the safety of guests’ belongings is very concerning. The hotel is also located quite far from the beach. The hotel sunbeds are placed a considerable distance from the sea, and finding a free umbrella is almost impossible. In the end, we rented private sunbeds closer to the water. The Kids Club had very limited opening hours, and during our entire one-week stay we were never able to use it. The swimming pools were also disappointing. Only one pool, with a depth of around one metre, was comfortable for family use. None of the pools were heated, and the water was very cold. Unfortunately, despite a few positive aspects, the way guests are treated and the poor all-inclusive offering mean that we would not choose to stay at this hotel again.
