Yes, guests at Premier Fort Club Hotel - Full Board have highlighted that: We stayed at Premier Fort (Sveti Vlas, Bourgas area, Bulgaria) in August 2025 as a group of 5 (My family: ages 5, 38, 43, and my parents: ages 68 & 73)
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and honestly couldn't fault anything about the hotel.
We were self-catering, and were allocated a huge 2 bedroom apartment, on the ground floor overlooking the kids playground and the main pool.
The apartment itself was very well equipped. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen including full-sized fridge freezer, oven, hob, microwave, toaster, plus all the utensils, cutlery, crockery etc. Washing up liquid and sponge were provided, as well as a tea towel. The beds were large and very comfortable, the bathrooms had really good water pressure in the showers - even when both were in use at the same time. Pump bottles are included for shampoo, shower gel & hand wash. Plenty of towels, and fresh ones were provided every day (even when we left them hung on the rails to indicate we were happy to use them again) One bathroom even had a washing machine.
There were plenty of plug sockets.
We had a large balcony that could be accessed from the lounge area as well as both bedrooms. It had 2 small tables and 6 chairs, as well as an airer for drying clothes/towels/swimwear.
We even had a shoe cupboard near the door that kept us tidy.
Towels are also provided to use at the pool & beach.
Good wi-fi access - each device you have is provided with its own password when you check in. It seemed to be good signal in the room and around the pool areas.
There are 2 large pools and one shallow children's pool. The main pool has the 2 big slides into it. There were rarely queues for the slides despite it being high season in August and busy. We were always able to find sunbeds around the pool, regardless of time of day. There were 2 lifeguards on duty at the main pool. There are very few rules about the slides, adults and children can use them, and we enjoyed going down them lots! The orange one is surprisingly steep & fast, the blue one much more gentle. Inflatables are allowed in the pool.
The children's pool was nice and shallow, our 5 year old happily played in there whilst we watched from the side.
There is also a quieter pool outside the block where reception is, which had plenty of sunbeds available. This pool also has a children's section fenced off.
Around all the pools are large shaded covers with slats, so everyone has easy access to the shade or sun as desired.
Access to the beach is out of the gate by the main pool, then down a slope to the beach - 2 min walk max. The beach itself is quite narrow, but we always found a space to set ourselves up. The sea was a lovely temperature and easy to access, no need for sea shoes. There was quite a lot of seaweed. A few rocks but mostly sandy. There are regular lifeguard stations along the beach and they were very active with enforcing the flags (a couple of days the yellow flag was flying due to the wind, so they would not allow inflatables in the sea)
The entertainment team are excellent. They run a full programme of daytime activities. They start each morning and afternoon session by playing El Dippy Centura and doing a dance to it around the main pool. It will get in your head! I enjoyed yoga on the lawn each morning, and there was also table tennis, boccia, croquet etc etc, as well as children's activities - our daughter only wanted to join in one day, she enjoyed kids yoga and a throwing game.
There is a supermarket on site, as well as a large Mercury supermarket approx a 10-15 minute walk away, up the hill to the main road. Both shops prices were roughly the same as English prices, perhaps a bit more pricey for some things. The locals shop at Mercury, so these prices are not inflated for tourists. They also sell clothes, shoes, souveniers etc there too. We bought things from the supermarket to make our own breakfasts and lunches, then ate out for dinner each evening.
The local restaurants all have very similar menus - meats, fish, pizza, pasta etc. We could all get something we liked. My Dad is coeliac, so we had printed out cards to explain this to the restaurant staff. None seemed very familiar with a gluten-free diet requirement, but all were very helpful with offering him choices and alternatives to their main menus, and he was not ill.
Children's menus were generally small and basic - sometimes just chicken nuggets and chips, so our 5 year old often chose from the main menu or starters menu.
There are not many local restaurants, so we visited a few of them twice. Most are within hotels rather than standalone restaurants. Luxor restaurant was my favourite, that's about a 5-10 min walk out of the back gate of Premier Fort (same direction as Mercury supermarket) and in the same direction was also Star Dreams and Sky Dreams restaurants within hotels. Clio is a lovely dessert café nearby too, loads of fun choices.
There are also a few beachfront restaurants, accessed by leaving via Reception and walking 5-10 mins.
All of the restaurant staff were lovely, very friendly and spoke good English too.
Once you leave Premier Fort resort, the area is still under develpoment/rough around the edges. For example the pavements are very uneven, then disappear altogether and you're walking along a dirt track. Lots of dog poo to avoid too. It would be difficult if you had a pushchair or wheelchair. We had taken our daughter's scooter with us, thinking it would help us get further now she's too big for a pushchair but won't walk very far, but it wasn't worth taking as there was nowhere suitable for scooting.
We used the local buses a few times. The nearest bus stop is outside Mercury supermarket (approx 10 min walk uphill from Premier Fort) the buses were very busy, predominantly used by locals. There is a conductor on the bus who will sell you your tickets (cash only) and it went smoothly. We travelled to Nessebar old town which is nice and pretty, worth a wander around.
If we were to return, it would be on half board/full board, so that we would not need to go out to eat. There is also evening entertainment at Premier Fort, but we didn't see any of it as we went out to eat. The hotel itself is absolutely wonderful, we couldn't fault it at all, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

One of the best hotels we have been to. Clean rooms, simply excellent food. The kids enjoyed the pool, the water was a little cold. I would like to praise a girl at the reception named Yelena who helped us stay at the hotel for a few more hours after check-out. Special thanks to the chef and all th… more

Mostly in the range quite nice to very nice. For example the room was nice and the mattress very nice, (sadly the pillows were horrible) Location is nice.
