This was our first visit to Trakia Garden and I can honestly say that i my opinion this is the best hotel in Sunny beach. While only three star it far outshines hotels with more stars in terms of cleanliness and hospitality. We were in room 111 and as my wife is disabled this was perfect for us. My wife has a mobility scooter and we were worried that we would have to leave it outside but as soon as Lena saw it she allowed it to be stored in the foyer. The rooms are are a very good size with plenty of room to move around without getting in each other's way, there are two single beds a chair bed, dressing table, small fridge and lots of places to store clothes. The bathrooms were also of a good size with a very very good shower and a good size basin in which to soak anything you wish, on the balcony there is an air drier for your towel etc. plus a small rope and best of all pegs! There are two lifts one just as you pass the reception and the other at the end of the corridor passed the rooms. The breakfast is of good quality with the usual things like boiled eggs fried eggs sausage bread butter cereal cheese croissants olives honey and jam. They also had tea coffee water and two types of juice. All the staff we spoke to were friendly and spoke at least a few words of English As I mentioned this was our first visit here but i don't think it will be our last, I can see why it has so many returning guests it really is an exceptional place to stay,

“Brilliant”

Just returned home from yet another wonderful stay. The family and staff are always friendly and welcoming to all their guests. The hotel is spotless . There are many returners which speaks volumes about this full package hotel. Already booked for 2026.

Visited trakia gardens beginning of September, although the staff were pleasant and helpful and the rooms were fine it just didn’t do it for us , it was too clicky for one and they were so noisy at night going back to there rooms it just seemed to be full of old people who didn’t move from the hote… more

Visited trakia gardens beginning of September, although the staff were pleasant and helpful and the rooms were fine it just didn’t do it for us , it was too clicky for one and they were so noisy at night going back to there rooms it just seemed to be full of old people who didn’t move from the hotel , the location wasn’t the best either next time we will go nearer to the centre

“Average experience”

Spent 7 nights in the hotel and moved room after 2 nights - noisy, inconsiderate, antisocial people in the next room, plus my room overlooked the grounds of Trakia Plaza Hotel which pumped out loud music until 11pm, making it impossible to sit out on the balcony. Spent 7 nights in the hotel and moved room after 2 nights - noisy, inconsiderate, antisocial people in the next room, plus my room overlooked the grounds of Trakia Plaza Hotel which pumped out loud music until 11pm, making it impossible to sit out on the balcony. Little sound insulation in the rooms, so you could hear the person's conversations in the next room, as well as their shower running and toilet flushing. After moving room I was woken two nights in a row by a drunken, younger female guest in the next room phoning her friends at 1.30am and 2am, with the balcony door wide open so you could hear every word. The hotel appears to have a high tolerance level for noisy guests, although most of the guests were elderly and well behaved. Reception staff were amicable and the cleaners worked relentlessly. Staff in the restaurant at breakfast didn't smile or engage. One staff member walked around with a frozen facial expression, avoiding any eye contact. Breakfasts were awful unless you enjoyed cold, greasy, undercooked bacon and cold fried eggs. Melon was available 4 mornings, otherwise no fruit apart from apple slices left exposed to the air and going brown. No butter, just a white, greasy substance that resembled a type of margarine. I survived on dry toast and jam and boiled eggs. No real fruit juice was available, just squash. On a positive note, the hotel was generally quiet and peaceful during the day and lots of guests enjoyed being by the pool. Some guests were regulars, and I have seen lots of 4 star/rave reviews of the hotel.
