“Beautiful Hotel with Wonderful Staff”

We (me, husband & 9 year old son) have just returned from 11 nights at this beautiful hotel. We (me, husband & 9 year old son) have just returned from 11 nights at this beautiful hotel. We arrived late in the evening but were welcomed by the staff with a glass of prosecco and a Voya keyring for my son. Room: The hotel room was beautiful with plenty of space for the 3 of us and plenty of storage so we were able to put our suitcases away. I had emailed in advance to ask for a quiet room if possible. We were given C510 which was definitely in a quiet area of the hotel. We had a partial sea view but not overlooking the pool. This was perfect for us as we would not have liked to be overlooking the pool which I think would have been quite noisy up until 10pm. The mini bar was replenished every day with water, cans of juice and beer. Food: Noble - We only went to the Al a Carte once but it was very enjoyable. They adapted the kids menu for my dairy free son which was great and it was his favourite meal of the whole holiday. I enjoyed the regular menu and my husband the vegetarian menu. One thing to note is that they only serve wine by the bottle and the wine is not free. This wasn't a problem for us, and we ordered a bottle of prosecco at 29 Euro which was reasonable. Special mention to our waiter Matei who was excellent! Chef's Kitchen - This is the main buffet restaurant and has a massive variety of food. Plenty of vegetarian options and there was always a Vegan dessert that my dairy intolerant son could have. It would be good if they could have a vegan ice cream in the restaurant at dinner time. The food was always tasty although as mentioned in other reviews never very hot. It can be difficult to get a table at certain times (we didn't go for dinner until about 20.15 as it got a bit quieter by then). Not the hotels fault but the restaurant is full of kids running riot and parents not caring. I witnessed on several occasions people being almost taken out by a running child, with plates full of food. Come on parents, keep your kids in check! Catch - This was my favourite restaurant for Breakfast and lunch as it was much quieter. Sotto Bar is also great and made me many Oat Milk Lattes! My son also enjoyed going to the bar to get his kids cocktail (SpongeBob Cocktail was a favourite). Gelato Station - We had a problem on the first day when there was absolutely nothing dairy free for my son to have neither in the freezers or gelato. I spoke to reception who contacted the chef. The next day and every day thereafter there were several choices of vegan ice creams which my son just loved! Thank you to the staff for sorting this quickly. Chic - The chocolates were delicious and a highlight every night! They even had some which didn't have dairy in them for my son! Kids Club: My son loved going to the kids club, he especially loved show day when they rehearsed dances and performed in the Amphitheatre in the evening. Another day he painted a t-shirt & bag (note there is an extra cost for the t-shirt/bag). The Daily Challenge was fun too and flying the kites was also a highlight! The Staff at kids club were just lovely, my son's favourite was Dimo. It's not a "full on" kids club like I've seen elsewhere, it's quite chilled and no pressure on anyone to join in. This suited my son as he doesn't like lots of kids and noise. I never saw more than 10 kids at the club. Pool/slides: The main pool is really big and never felt too busy. We never had a problem getting a sunbed even if we arrived down after 11. Sunbeds are reserved with towels, but again this didn't bother us as we always managed to get one. The music is loud around the pool which was one of our least favourite things, maybe just our preference but definitely could have been quieter and a better choice of music (again we are just not into dance music!). The animation team do a dance around the pool a couple of times a day which is really good fun. The Beach: Lovely small beach with sunbeds, parasols and a Voya drinks truck which server various drinks and snacks. The water was lovely and we managed to snorkel several times. Spa: The Spa was another highlight of our holiday. We had a Turkish bath and my son loved his bubble treatment and chocolate facemask. Me and my husband also had several treatments. My Hot Stone Massage by Julia was amazing! Thank you Julia! Again, the staff in the spa were just lovely! (Note treatments are obviously chargeable) The staff: The staff are the best bit about this hotel! They never stop cleaning! The place is spotless. At meal times they quietly take plates away and are constantly replenishing food. Around the pool the staff are sweeping, mopping, cleaning, taking away glasses etc. Every single staff member we interacted with were excellent. Other things of note that we enjoyed were the Arcade, the Playstation which we used to play Fifa, the Voya taxi driver (Marin) who took us to and from the Aqua park. We absolutely loved our holiday and would definitely return again to Voya. The only things we didn't like were not the hotels fault. We witnessed many people being rude to the staff and very entitled but this may have been a cultural thing where it is not usual to even say thank you when staff cleared your plate away! We learned how to say thank you in Bulgarian and most of the time the staff were surprised but delighted when we thanked them! We also didn't like the constant smoking around the pool but again this is allowed in Bulgaria so not the hotels fault. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this hotel and we will return. благодаря ти Voya

Voya Beach Resort is a Perfect Place for the hole Family - delicious Food and Drinks for the Parents and enough funny activities and Shows for the Kids. The Service was very good and the entire Holiday complex was clean and Safe. We can recommend it!!
