“Overall experience”

We spent 4 days in the hotel and definitely there are things that can be changed for the better. Rooms are nice and ours was properly cleaned from the previous guests. The top reviews of Royal Calisto Hotel are: We spent 4 days in the hotel and definitely there are things that can be changed for the better. Rooms are nice and ours was properly cleaned from the previous guests. It’s close to two beaches and high street. In the hotel T&C’s is written that sheets are changed if the stay is for more than 3 days, but I think pillow cases needs to be checked and changed if needed no matter how long you are staying for. The pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was same every day and things like fried bread slices and scrambled eggs were not kept hot so you end up eating them cold. I think it will be good to include other foods as pancakes, mekici, granola, etc. There was Nescuik and plain cornflakes but again there was only cold milk for them. When you do the booking with included dinner no where is specified that it will be a la cart and there’s no published weekly menu. You expect to be like the breakfast many things and you choose and serve yourself or at least to have a cart menu with 2/3 different options for starter and main but unfortunately no. They didn’t think of fussy eating people, people with allergies or vegan/vegetarian people and there’s no option to change your dish if you are one of these people. Huge red flag is that your dinner starts to be served at 6pm no matter if you are on the table or not therefore it stays cold outside where fly and other insects are visiting your plate. Mains are being portioned and served cold. The restaurant’s staff is uninformed as they cannot tell you what will be for dinner 1 hour before they serve it. Also they obviously didn’t have experience in waitressing. The hotel is not adjusted for people with physical disability. We’re not going back as I think for the same amount you can definitely find better..

On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
