Stayed at the Lodge for my wife's birthday trip in mid-September. We could not ask for more from the Lodge. Great beautiful location, friendly and professional owners, great food. This was the best place we stayed during our Banff region trip. We got great advice on our hikes, Wilcox Pass was a great hike that we had not planned on doing. Bruce is super knowledgeable and had several connections in the area. He brought in a local film maker to discuss a short film she had made about the local glaciers and had a local bird expert talk about the Candian Rockies resident bird. Food was awesome too. Elk Chops one night were faboulous. The hiker's lunch were perfect for our days out on the trails. Thanks for the great stay

We had a memorable stay at the Bow Lake Lodge, from the golf car shuttle taking us from the parking lot to the lodge to the next day breakfast! We enjoyed the nature talk during the tea time, the ease of a code for the room lock instead of a key card, meeting strangers at dinner who were friendly, and the walk around the lodge after dinner. The catering staff accommodated our vegan needs and the 4 course meal was great! They let us take the breakfast a bit earlier than the 8am sitting to allow for our early departure. If we didn't have a packed schedule, we would have stayed there another day and enjoyed nearby hikes.

We enjoyed a great 3 night stay at the lodge. Bruce and the entire team, the lodging and the food, the location and scenery were all amazing and exceptional!

The Lodge at Bow Lake offers a truly unforgettable experience and was one of the highlights of our trip across Alberta and BC. The lodge has been tastefully renovated with a very comfortable lounge and spacious dining room, both with huge fireplaces with fires lit as temperatures were close to zero when we visited - in mid July! (Very unusual it has to be said!) We enjoyed sitting with other couples from across Europe and North America at long tables and had some interesting conversations whilst savouring the delicious food. The staff across the board couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Our room was minimalistic in style but very comfortable - perhaps a bigger bed would have been more suited to the space? We enjoyed the views of the lake, shrouded in low cloud and woke up to sleet which developed into snow during the morning. We would love to return, but the distance and our age may not allow this, but we are so glad that we took the plunge and booked for two nights. Yes, it is expensive, so is it worth it? A resounding 'yes'!
