We thoroughly enjoyed our stay again in room 208. This is a pet friendly room that allows our entire family to enjoy the hill. The kids had a great time playing in the pool and hanging out at our favourite table by the fireplace in the Rusty Edge. This is one annual event that we consistently look forward to.

We booked our room online last minute as we didn't really know where we wanted to go so we booked here. We booked our room online last minute as we didn't really know where we wanted to go so we booked here. We booked a standard room which was ok as we didn't want to spend a ton on short notice and we knew a lot of places were going to be super expensive because of the long weekend. We arrived on the Saturday here, the front end lady was extremely helpful, when we arrived to our room we were a bit shocked that we were in the basement which I thought was a bit odd but ok it is an older inn. When we arrived to our room we noticed how small the room was, I felt we were a bit deceived about how big the room was, I've been to lots of other places and even for how cheap we paid we had bigger rooms before, I guess it wasn't that big of a deal but would have liked to have the opportunity when we arrived to have the option to get into a bigger room, but that was not the case clearly which I thought was strange but whatever, regardless of that I noticed when we finally got settled when I went to the bathroom, it was not very clean, the bathtub had hair in it, there was hair all along the lining of the bathtub and on the floor. It was pretty disgusting so I was not happy about that, but whatever the only good part of being in that room is that we were steps away from the hot tub that's about it. We were a bit shocked to hear that staff leaves after 5pm so no one is here and the building gets locked up which you can only access from the front entrance, thought it was a bit strange. Next day we asked about ski lift passes and where we can get them front end lady same lady from the day before gave them to us for free because we were staying at the inn, 5 stars to her! Our overall stay was ok, but nothing to get excited about, I wasn't too impressed I had to wait till 9am to check out, we were trying to get on the road to go back home and I came into the front about 840am had to used the phone to see if someone can come earlier to check us out, the lady on the phone said the guy was just coming down the hill so should be there shortly and will let him know I was waiting. I waited for more than 5 minutes so clearly he was not just coming down the hill, it seemed like he made me wait till exactly 9am just so I can check out, pretty frustrating I had to wait 20 minutes when I was told it would be shorter time. Check out went ok and then we left. Overall experience I'm give a 3 out of 5 stars. The first front end lady she receives 5 stars! She was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Size of room and cleanliness 3 stars Close to hot tub 5 stars! Trying to check out was a pain so I'm only giving 2 stars. Overall stay experience was ok, but could have been better.
