“Good spot to land in Gander ”
We stayed here when we came to see "Come From Away". It's a great location, close to amenities and a 5 minute car ride to the theatre. There's also a small bar in the hotel. Needs a bit of refurbishing. A bit outdated!

“Good base in Gander”
It's a decent hotel, it's in Gander, right on the TCH, probably that's everything you're looking for. There's a restaurant and "lounge" inside the hotel, restaurant serves breakfast as well. Small indoor pool. We stayed in a separate building, which was fine in mid summer. Could be awkward … more

“'B' grade at best.”
This property is at least 60 years old and shows it --- torn screens in BR window, faded wallpaper, sluggish toilet, dingy lobby, dark bar, bumpy car park, etc. My wife and I [both experienced world travellers have never encountered a "brand name" [Quality Inn] property as run down as this.
