We paid more to have a view of the American, Bridal and Horseshoe Falls from our 14th Floor room - and it delivered! The view of the five-minute long 10:00pm fireworks may have been the best view anywhere and sipping your morning coffee while looking at the Falls will be a lifelong memory. The hotel is well located, and across the street from the main walkway along the Falls, almost across the street from the Niagara City Cruise departure point, close to the entrance to the pedestrian walkway across Rainbow Bridge (need your passport), and at the base of Clifton Hill (with its many attractions). Most of the other hotels on the Canadian side are located up on a hill overlooking the falls and river. We walked everywhere: the walk from the hotel to the viewing platform above Horseshoe Falls took about 25 minutes, the check-in area for the boat cruise took about 10 minutes, and about 30 minutes to walk to the Power Station Museum/Tour. The room was clean, had a comfortable bed, had a small fridge, coffee/tea maker, and small safe. We were lucky enough to run into our roomkeeper, Ludchelle, on two of our three days- she was great, friendly and professional and checked with us to see if she could get us anything else. The hotel does not provide luggage carts for you to use on your own - you need to ask a porter to assist you (only they have access to the luggage carts). There was only one major issue, and it related to long waits to get on one of three elevators that serve the upper levels. The elevators were smallish and crowded and we usually waited five minutes or more. Speaking with other guests - they told me that they had been waiting 10-minutes or more for an open elevator. On our last day, we actually took a partially empty "up" elevator just to ensure that we'd be able to get "down" in a reasonable time. This is a problem that needs to be addressed by management since it costs a lot of money to stay in these upper-level rooms, and this service is well below expectations. We did not eat at any of the hotel's restaurants nor use the spa facility.

The positive aspect of this hotel is its location, just 100 meters from the Falls. It's very easy to walk there. However, I expected much more from a Sheraton. You have to pay $40 per night for parking, and the parking lot is not close to the hotel. If you're traveling with elderly people, you'll need to drop them off at the hotel first and then go park the car. The elevators are clearly undersized for the number of rooms. There were long lines, and at times we had to wait more than 15 minutes just to get an elevator. I would recommend requesting a room on a lower floor, because you'll probably prefer using the stairs. Despite being an elite member, I was assigned a dark room with no windows. The rooftop on the seventh floor could be much better utilized. The pool is small, and although there is a view of the Falls, only a small section is accessible to guests. About 85% of the prime viewing area requires an additional fee. Breakfast is not included either. Honestly, I'd rather be overcharged by Starbucks than by the hotel.

Location of this property is amazing - right near Voyage to the Falls and Niagara Parkway Walk. Can easily view Falls. Table Rock areas is about 1 mile walk away. Location of this property is amazing - right near Voyage to the Falls and Niagara Parkway Walk. Can easily view Falls. Table Rock areas is about 1 mile walk away. We were on 18th floor with Juliet Balcony and had awesome view of the Falls. The room was fine, although shower pretty small considering they recently remodeled, and Housekeeping friendly and attentive. There were a number of annoying issues at the hotel that impact overall rating. Elevators take way too long - be prepared to spend a lot of time waiting. Hallways in the hotel were freezing cold. One side of the window in our room was entirely fogged up. Common areas were not as clean as they should be - lots of traffic, but no visible signs of anyone attending to them (overflowing trash bins, dirty tables). Starbucks in lobby is somewhat sad. Employees do not seem like they enjoy their jobs or want to be there. Hard to get any breakfast (other than Starbucks) any time before 8:00 am. We were surprised by how commercial and tacky Clifton Hill area is (Frankenstein and Dracula attractions, haunted house, loud arcades, fast food, etc...) Perhaps more entertaining for families with younger kids.

Poolside food was tasty, nice that there was a bar poolside. did self parking not very far to walk in general all parking and concession stands are very overpriced . HARD ROCK RESTAURANT WAS HORRIFICALLY NOISY, FOOD COLD AND TASTLES, CHICKEN CLUB VERY DRY ALMOST CHOKED, RUN DONT GO. Better of else where. So in summary outdoor pool five star except for needing easy entry for people with Mobility issues and pool towels are very small.
