From the moment I arrived to the time I left, the service and experience was 10/10! I did a 3 night bed and breakfast with a round each day. After the first round, the clubhouse took my clubs overnight. I showed up via shuttle to the clubhouse for a few swings at the driving drive before my round the next morning and my clubs were shined up and ready to go. At the first tee, we were welcomed with oat cakes and custom course divot tools (fix your divots, people)! The course is in beautiful shape and even though there’s construction happening, the back 9 is still a beautiful sight next to the ocean. All of the work seemed to be done early in the morning, because we hardly even noticed. The first evening we went to a restaurant down the road, recommended by the resort, Wiley’s by the Warf). They take reservations over the phone but we lucked out and were able to get a table. The prices are awesome for what you get and the food and drinks were great! The next day we went to eat at the main restaurant for dinner after our round. The service wasn’t as fast as some would like but we were lucky enough to walk outside and take in the sunset while we waited. You also have to remember the resort has a lot of people and only one restaurant so it’s to be expected! The service wasn’t still great and the staff was very attentive. The last day we hit up the spa after our round for a massage. The spa offers a number of pools and a hot tub as well as a steam room, a sauna, and a salt rock room which was the most relaxing thing! I highly recommend to get the full experience if you’re looking for a little relaxation! For each day we were given breakfast vouchers. The menu is amazing and the portions are huge. To end our stay, we had a pontoon cruise booked but the water was a little rough. to our surprise, we were greeted with a bottle of brut and a massive cheese and meat plate and were offered a shuttle ride to the lighthouse to watch the sunset. I can’t promise that would always happen but it’s something I’ll never forget! Every person on the resort walks or drives by with a smile on their face. The staff works hard and you can tell they very much enough their job. I was told the new course would be ready in 2027, I can’t wait to go back each year to see the difference!

“High quality accommodation”

We stayed for one night at Fox Harbour en route from PEI to Cape Breton. Our suite was immaculate and the location is very picturesque.

Stayed here for 4 nights for a conference/retreat. Executive room was large, updated and well appointed. Stayed here for 4 nights for a conference/retreat. Executive room was large, updated and well appointed. Did have some HVAC issues (remedied quickly) and the fireplace would not turn on but the beds were very comfortable and my location to the main buildings was fabulous. The room could have been cleaner, hair on the floor that wasn't mine and behind the tub had not been cleaned for a very long time. A note for anyone travelling on their own with suitcases, you could have to drag the suitcase up a flight of stairs as there is not elevators in the buildings with the hotel rooms. The buildings look like small homes and there are 6-8 hotel rooms in each "house". Food was great, venue and views were incredible. The archery, ax throwing and shooting were very fun! The only unfortunate part of the trip was the early morning machinery wake up call right outside my bedroom window, every single morning at 7am.

“Fabulous stay!!”

Most amazing experience. We were in room 10B which is a short walk to the restaurant, spa and pro shop. Most amazing experience. We were in room 10B which is a short walk to the restaurant, spa and pro shop. The room was fabulous, 2 patios, lots of space for a couple, heated bathroom floors, comfortable king size bed… and an ocean view. We also participated in sport shooting which was such an amazing experience. More fun than we imagined. Definitely would do it again. We did a wine tasting and was blown away by the wines and the host Nick. He’s a great story teller and we just had so many laughs. Nick truly made this and the rest of our trip amazing, as he took care of many details for our restaurant reservation on the second day. Perfect custom old fashioned for the gentlemen and another unique spin on some cocktails for the women. He didn’t disappoint and also guided us to some great wine choices (that didn’t break the bank). We did the spa and golf as well on our second day. Felt so relaxed and pampered, exactly what we needed. All the staff we encountered were total pros and made sure we well taken care of. Could not have asked for a better trip! 4 stars is only because of the construction which is short term. Lots of dust and noise. It will stunning when it’s all done.
