Our recent stay at 124 on Queen Hotel & Spa, combined with dining at Treadwell Cuisine, was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, everything felt incredibly classy, sophisticated, and executed at a top-tier level. A massive, heartfelt thank you goes to the incredible team. Coleen was phenomenal, putting together a truly great, tailored package for my team. Courtney then took the reins and led every single detail of the event flawlessly. She was there in person from start to finish, providing hands-on assistance and ensuring everything ran smoothly. I truly cannot say enough about both of them—their dedication and professionalism elevated our entire experience. The hotel and spa offer a perfect blend of luxury and comfort, while Treadwell Cuisine delivered a world-class culinary experience with masterfully prepared dishes. If you are looking for a premium, high-end getaway or a flawlessly executed group event where every detail is perfect, this is it. We cannot wait to return!

I recently worked with the incredible 124 on Queen team to organize a corporate off-site involving both daytime meetings and overnight stays and I cannot recommend them enough!! I had not organized a corporate event for my company before and as it was for the senior executives, there were a lot of moving parts to iron out to ensure I hit the brief. There was a lot of back-and-forth during the planning stages and I was so impressed by how caring and understanding the team was to my demands and changes;) They remained patient and attentive throughout ensuring every detail was tailored to our needs so we were perfectly set up for success! We used The Gate House for our daytime meetings. It is a stunning room flooded with natural light which kept the energy high and the atmosphere professional and happy. The AV setup was seamless and incredibly easy to use—no technical headaches to slow us down. The food provided during the day was excellent. There were plenty of options to suit everyone, and the snack selection was a huge hit with the team! The overnight accommodations were beautiful, providing a high-end, comfortable retreat after a long day of work. We hosted a private dinner at Treadwell Cuisine and it was spectacular. The setting was intimate and the meal was easily a highlight of the trip. Overall the property itself is breathtaking and perfectly situated in the heart of Niagara. Between the top-tier service, the beautiful meeting spaces, and the ease of execution, this was a seamless experience. We will definitely be going back again next year!

“Ritz pricing, but definitely NOT the Ritz”

Great location. Friendly staff, it’s just their charging Ritz Carlton/Four Seasons prices for Marriott quality rooms. Got a Premium Room for $800/n. When I pay that much money, I don’t expect to find the previous guests clothes in one of the drawers. Or 1980’s stained ceiling tiles in entry way.… more

Great location. Friendly staff, it’s just their charging Ritz Carlton/Four Seasons prices for Marriott quality rooms. Got a Premium Room for $800/n. When I pay that much money, I don’t expect to find the previous guests clothes in one of the drawers. Or 1980’s stained ceiling tiles in entry way. Or a shower faucet from Home Depot. Rooms also need a good deep clean, lots of dirt/mold in bathroom (see pics), and stains on the drapes. Makeup light in bathroom is dying (very weak brightness). Furniture was dated, with only one chair. Bathroom vanity was showing wear, with lots of scratches. Room is above a very busy restaurant, with music playing past 10pm on weekends, so bring earplugs if you go to sleep before midnight. On the positives: it’s a large room with a fireplace. Nespresso & L’Occtaine were nice. The towels & robes were luxurious (no slippers). Beds were comfortable. Balcony is small, but with comfortable chairs, but no privacy between them (we were the only ones out, so not really an issue), see pics. These rooms are in a building next to main hotel, so you need to go outside and walk on the main street to access them (they are very clear on the website, you need to go up a steep set of stairs, but there is an elevator). Free underground parking was nice. I also liked you can just text requests. There is no ice machine in the building, but they brought some over. $30/day “resort fee” that gives you 2 bottles of water per stay (not per night, even though charge is daily). We went NOTL bar for a drink and an appetizer at 5, and we’re not offered the complimentary “Amuse bouche”. So the fee is really a rip off. Oh, they do have free bikes, so could be a good benefit (not something we were interested in). NOTL Bar & Restaurant was nice, but a bit of an afterthought for the hotel. We sat inside on the more comfortable chairs. They have plastic ones on the patio (which was covered when we were there due to weather). Lobster dip was good, cocktails are decent and as you’d expect very pricey (along with the wine). Again, I’d be less critical if I was only charged $4-500/n, but if you’re going to charge +$800/n for a room (not a suite), you have to step it up. This is what I typically pay at top tier hotel. Maybe that’s what it is in NOTL?! Would I stay here again…. Good question, I think yes, but now I know what to expect and I hope you do too. Cheers.
