“Spectacular view on the edge of town”
The rooms have fantastic water views. The hotel is a bit of a walk to town. About a mile and a half (30 minutes at a brisk pace) There is a good side walk all of the way and the views are nice, although it is not flat and the town is on a bit of a hill. “construction is all Concrete”
This is a very modern artsy hotel resort, connected to a casino. The main interesting feature is the entire structure including rooms with bare concrete walls. “Fine place to stay to explore Chiloe.”
This is supposed to be the best hotel in Castro. It was fine. Comfortable rooms. Breakfast was also fine. Not too many services to offer and location is a walk from restaurants or stores, but again, we were told it was the best that Castro has to offer.

“Great view of the bay”
This is the only hotel on the island that can handle groups. Interesting rooms with bare concrete walls and ceiling. The room was comfortable but no coffee or tea maker. We had a chaise lounge in front the large picture window which had a great view of the bay.
