I liked this hotel and would stay there again provided it was cheap. Though it's charming, colorful, slightly hip (think budget W hotel) and fun, it doesn't compare to hotels like the Intercontinental. The rooms are charming but come in two sizes: okay and very small. You literally can't walk around the bed in the latter. The location was brilliant, near two great malls and a few terrific restaurants (don't miss the hand-pulled noodle place, and Croissant Village is very good) but it is on the fifth floor of a somewhat scuzzy mall. Breakfast is not good (tiny weird sausages, broccoli, carrots, something I think is supposed to be congee but tastes like thin sweetened rice soup).

Stayed here one Saturday night while in Beijing. I agree with other posts that it is very difficult to find. Especially when you dont read mandarin. Stayed here one Saturday night while in Beijing. I agree with other posts that it is very difficult to find. Especially when you dont read mandarin. It is located on the fifth floor of the Soho Building A. The mall itself on the main floor was pretty dismal looking. Elevators appeared to be freight elevators lined with plywood. Lobby had a funky smell to it. Check in was a breeze. Wifi was accessible from the room. The room was small but awesome. All amenities were there including face wash and mouth wash. Super clean rooms. Comfy bed and pillows. Upon my return to my room after an evening out there was a fruit platter--pleasant surprise. Location was ideal for shopping and night life. For the price, I would add a few bucks and stay at the intercon next door.
