The room rate was very good. In China one can find hotels paying little. This hotel is good, but for a five star hotel, it shoud be better. Room is very big, shower ok, confy bed and pillows. However everything smells cigarette. The air conditioning works, although I could not change temperature. Staff is nice and tries to be helpfull, but most of the staff does not speak English. I had troubles trying to contact room service and also when checking out. The breakfast is very good, a lot of options, eastern and western menu. So you can choose between noodles, vegetables, bread, eggs, fruits, cakes and many other options. Hotel is near many ceramic tile factories, but a little far from downtown Foshan. There are only chinese channels on tv, so no international news on tv during the time I stayed there. There is wifi connection, and it can be installed in the room. It worked fine.

“Back to the best of Foshan..”

This is my 5th time here.. Was on a break between the two phases of the Canton Fair in Guangzhou.. The check in experience was bitter as they refused to accept my hotel voucher as I had booked in 4 months in advance and insisted that I pay the difference in the prices, after lodging my strong protest they had many consultations with their seniors and then reluctantly agreed to the rate on the voucher.. The night club is closed, nothing much is happening in terms of entertainment here.. The spa is exorbitant.. There is a new mall that has opened very close to the hotel which is a big relief as there \used to be nothing nearby before.. The rooms are stately and luxurious, the bathrooms are very well equipped. Whatever said this hotel still remains the best in Foshan..

I have stayed here quiet a number of times, the hospitality is impeccable. Good thinking bt=y the management to have a foreigner at the reception to handle the English speaking guests. The breakfast is a grand spread, I have always skipped lunch after the meal!! Centrally located between ceramic city & shunde, taxis are very easy to find with the concierges ready to help. Has a new night club in the ground floor. I miss the Indian restaurant which used to be in the premises. The rooms, toilets, common areas are absolutely clean and comfortable. The spa has always been excellent after a hard day's work. The multiple dining options within the hotel service all palates, however finding vegetation food would be a challenge. Overall an excellent hotel to stay in.

“All good except the food.”

Stayed here in March 2013, usually stay at the Crown Plaza, but this was nearer my supplier. The check in was easy. The room was large well appointed and very comfortable. Overall pretty good until it came to breakfast the next day...No fruit at all, no yogurt. No western food that looked in any way edible. So he to resort to toast, made more difficult that I could not find a toaster.... When I asked they took the 2 prices of bread out the back and toasted them. Bizarre! Overall it really was very good for a Chinese hotel just fell down on the western food department.

I stayed here a couple of times, the suites are amazing, however the hotel in general is kind of boring, very big, but seems like empty all the time, the breakfast is good, however they never change a thing, so I got tired of the same things every day, I stayed here for about 10 days, the Steak restaurant is good thou, it saved my life a couple of times.
