“one night stay”

I only stayed one night on business trip - room very comfortable and clean, staff extremely helpful. only drawback was lack of food choice both for buffet dinner and breakfast. I do not expect to see a lot of western choice by this very limited as was the Asian choice.

The hotel is new but certain facilities are not ready (swimming pool etc.) and my room is big. They have built in USB chargers on the wall and the digital clock. Thus, you only need to bring your USB cable. Wi fi is free of charge and quite fast where you can get connection in the room, lifts, restaurant and lobby. Housekeeping need to improve as I found tooth paste cap on the bath room floor the 1st day I have checked in and cockroach on the curtain the 2nd night. The slipper provided is very comfortable. Breakfast is quite normal with the mixtures of west and east. But there are rooms for improvement for the western food. Besides, there are not covered, which is quite normal in China. You can find Starbucks next to the lobby, McDonald and Piza Hut next door. A super market and some small restaurants is on the left of the hotel which is only 5 minutes walk. Transport to and from airport is a problem. You may need to ask for help from front desk and pay RMB 200.00 for a single to airport which is about 20 minutes travelling on highway. Overall it is still a prefer stay for my next trip.

“Expect conditions of a 2.5-3 stars hotel”

Hotel has signs of “Smoking is prohibited” “No smoking” everywhere but there are ashtrays next to elevators as well as inside hotel rooms. We stayed on 12/F for 2 nights, we were surrounded by cigarette smell almost every minute during our stay. We later realized there’re guests smoking in their rooms with doors opened, we filed complaints with the front desk, their first response was “smoking is allowed”, we reminded them there were signs of “no smoking” everywhere on our floor, then they said they would do something about it but condition was not improved. The hotel might be quite nice right after it was opened/renovated but they are not able to keep up with the maintenance and cleanliness is definitely below par, to name a few: trash from prior guests was not thrown away, there’re dent and carpet stain everywhere, A/C vent has dust all over. Buffet breakfast has plenty of options but make sure to get there early because popular items like soy milk get run out quickly and are slow to refill. This might be one of the better hotels in the area but want to share my experience to make sure you visit with appropriate level of expectations.
