hiya, just got back from china and spent 3 weeks travelling to 4 citys and staying in 4 hotels. on the whole the hotels were decent enough. i have no complaints. however i do feel compelled to comment on one hotel in particular. this is the atour hotel chongqing jiefangbei raffles city riverview. let me start by saying that this was the cheapest of the four hotels but was by far the best. the room was good. large, clean and comfortable, ofcouse, this can be said for the others. the hotels location was super. centrally located and a minites walk from metro and the breakfast was very nice too. once again, the other hotels were not bad either. however, for me what set this hotel apart from the others were the staff. i am from the uk and am unable to speak the language. this did not phase the staff, indeed, they were full of enthusiasm to help, led by the lady in charge, feebie who spoke some english. they made my stay there very pleasent and rememberable. the details of my stay are too long to comment but it was a humbling experience for me so to all the staff...thank you Lenny

This is a very smart new hotel right next to the KK One mall. There's no check in desk. The reception area looks more like a library, with one wall covered in bookshelves, and staff sit you at a table to check you in. Rooms are large, with a free mini bar. And comfortable bed. Just beware that there's no door on the bathroom! The breakfast buffet if moderate on size but good. There's a metro station right outside, with Futian station just two shops away. The mall below hall plenty of restaurants and cafes.

“Good location, very nice room”

Very nice room, even had a bathtub in front of the window. Just that there’s no divider between the bathroom and room so whenever someone gets up early and uses the bathroom, the other(s) wake up from the light and/or noise. Very good location, very close to shops. Very friendly reception.

Stayed in Feb 2019. Lets cover the positives. The hotel is well kept. The room is well appointed and clean. We particularly liked the tea pot and the offer of speciality tea and coffee. The hotel is situated at a big intersection but the room itself remained quiet. The negatives include people on the floor smoked with door opened when it is specifically a non-smoking floor, also there was karaoke noise that could be heard in room. But that quickly disappeared at 23:00hrs. Overall nice hotel and happy to stay again.
