The Hotel, occupying the upper floors of an ordinary commercial building, is just next to a subway exit. If you don't mind the common public area, the Hotel area including your room, is avant garde. Having checked in my room, I found that a living tropical fish in a box-sized container was already there. I therefore ensured that both of us would be comfortable with the air-conditioning! I paid extra to try the Hotel's semi-buffet breakfast. For the first time in a hotel, my stomach had room for every item of food and drink made available. After all, you get great value for money!

This is a new hotel chain under the Orange group. If you are looking for a modern, clean and contemporary decorated hotel of great value, stay in Orange. The outside is not fancy but the moment you step into the lobby, you get the vibe that it's different than your traditional lobby. Upon entering your room you will noticed that everything is kind of high tech. Just leave your key card on the small opening and it activates all the electrical units in the room. There's various mood lighting to choose from, TV and more waiting to explore. Clean room and shower and a safe for your valuables. The bed is comfy as well. Now if you are lonely, there's a little pet fish called Nemo in the room to amuse you. Just dont feed or put up a fight with Nemo. This hotel is within walking distance to subway, Queens Spa, Dongmen and all kinds of eateries. Louhu Commercial Center is within walking distance too but I would take a taxi. As with safety, I would advise taking precaution and watch out for snatch thieves. Shenzhen is a safe place but this is Louhu and the area is near the border crossing, bus terminal and railway station and there are all sorts of characters around. Just be careful as in any city and you will avoid being a victim of petty crime. The only thing about the hotel is the entrance is in a tight private parking lot which gets full and taxi has to drive into the parking when its raining and some taxi drivers may be reluctant to do so due to the fully packed parking lot when its raining. Overall, a great stay at this hotel.

There could be many positives and negatives but the positive that overshadows them all is the location of this hotel if you wanna shop in Shenzhen. It is located around 800 meters from the heavenly shopping street of Shenzhen which is "Dongmen" pedestrian street. The hotel itself is good enough if you are there for shopping purpose. The location is very convenient as it is around 10 mins from Lo-Wu (Bus station, train station, hong kong border and Lo Wu shopping centre) by cab. It is also around 15 mins by cab from Futian (Huang Gang Shenzhen / HK border). So overall a perfect location in Shenzhen. It is a clean hotel, with English speaking staff. Currently the main entrance is under renovation which is also the Hubei metro station connecting you to all Shenzhen. The rooms are small. Beds are ok and not that great. Satellite TV covers a lot of channels and you won't be bored. The hotel has decent amenities and the bathroom facilities are quite good. Pricing is quite reasonable and so overall it is a good hotel for a short term stay if you want to go around Shezhen. Most other hotels of this caliber are far more expensive. So go and shop and enjoy the world's cheapest shopping paradise destination.
