I was staying at the Hotel for the Henquin 70.3 Ironman and the new and beautiful property delivered. They were excellent. They were so helpful with 300 triathletes, their bikes, etc. Laid on a 5am buffet and made everything easy. The Regency club is Grand Club level for sure with great food and drink. I am a globalist and they upgraded me to a gigantic suite given the property was fully booked out. It was easily as nice as a typical Grand or Park Hyatt Suite - I’d guess 800 sq feet. The staff were kind, attentive and really helpful and mindful of the event. I will now be coming back for Easter as it’s really easy from Hong Kong and you can enjoy the scenery and can hop up to Macau for food. Hengquin is sort of a ghost city but I can tell it will be hopping eventually but it has 3 lane roads for cycle training, great places to run and the hotel has a nice pool. I also visited the Spa which is a really beautiful facility. Everything was 5/5 - really should be a GH. Nicer than GH Macau for sure

I recently stayed at Hyatt Regency Hengqin and overall, it turned out to be a very well-rounded and enjoyable experience. Getting to Zhuhai was easier than I expected. I flew into Macau International Airport, took the LRT to Hengqin, then walked across to Hengqin Port for immigration. The process was straightforward, and from the port it was only about 5 km to the hotel. A taxi was inexpensive, and the hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle bus, which makes things even more convenient. Zhuhai itself is a great base if you plan to visit Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, one of the largest ocean-themed parks in the world and perfect for families. Another nearby landmark is New Yuan Ming Palace, a 1:1 reconstruction inspired by the Old Summer Palace in Beijing. It is a beautiful place for a relaxed walk and photos. Room rates are very reasonable for what you get. I stayed several nights and facilities are complete and suitable for both couples and families. There are indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a well-equipped fitness center, sauna, hot bath, spa, and a full Kids Club. The hotel is also connected to the Novotown complex, which has shops, restaurants, cafes, and family attractions such as National Geographic Ultimate Explorer, all within walking distance. Dining was another highlight of the stay. At Xiang Yue, the hotel’s Cantonese restaurant, the focus is clearly on freshness and balanced flavors. The open kitchen allows you to see the chefs at work, and fresh ingredients are displayed at the front. I tried both the à la carte menu and the dim sum buffet lunch. The foie gras with scallion pancake was a pleasant surprise, rich but not heavy. The signature fried oysters were crispy outside and juicy inside. The steamed sea bass with matsutake mushrooms was delicate and naturally sweet. The dim sum selection was also impressive, especially the truffle vegetable dumplings and har gow. For 208 RMB per person at lunch, the all-you-can-eat dim sum felt very good value considering everything is made fresh to order. Another memorable meal was the Hot Pot Dinner Buffet at Market Café. What stood out immediately was the freshness of the seafood and meats. The lobster was a highlight, sweet and generous for a buffet. There was a wide selection of meats, seafood, vegetables, mushrooms, and additional cooked dishes on the buffet line. The soup bases were flavorful without being too heavy, and everything was well organized and regularly refilled. It was a relaxed and satisfying dinner without having to leave the hotel, and I found it to be good value for the quality and variety offered. One evening, I also visited 180° Rooftop Bar on the 23rd floor. It’s a relaxed and comfortable space, with both indoor seating and an outdoor terrace. Sitting outside at night was my favorite part. You can see the city from above, with surrounding buildings lighting up after dark. The atmosphere is calm, not overly crowded, and perfect for winding down after dinner. The cocktails were nicely presented and easy to drink, and the overall vibe felt laid-back rather than flashy. It’s a great spot to end the day without having to leave the hotel. Overall, Hyatt Regency Hengqin is a solid choice if you are visiting Zhuhai. The location is convenient, the rooms are spacious and reasonably priced, the facilities are family-friendly, and the dining options are genuinely enjoyable. I would happily stay here again on my next visit.

As a Hyatt Globalist, I am very much satisfied with Hyatt Regency Hengqin's dedicated services. Checked in at Hyatt club, upgrade without asking, beautiful property and very friendly people. Will stay again when go back ZhuHai.

It is a clean non smoking hotel. Hyatt online customer service helped to arrange connecting rooms for me. But during a prolonged and painful check-in process, I learnt that the room had been given to others, however the staff remedied by giving me a bigger connecting room. It is a clean non smoking hotel. Hyatt online customer service helped to arrange connecting rooms for me. But during a prolonged and painful check-in process, I learnt that the room had been given to others, however the staff remedied by giving me a bigger connecting room. I was surprised by the check in process because in the past, I thought Hyatt is highly efficient and professional, but I guess they can be overwhelmed by festive peak season too.... The wooden door to toilet is too heavy for my old mother. The food at the club lounge and breakfast spread are good. The hotel is overall good but it is in an area where highways are jammed during festive season.
